The oil stays cleaner longer than any other oil I have used, conventional or synthetic! I'm totally impressed, my engines will last longer and have less problems using pennsoil as it cleans and keeps contaminants out of the engine! Awesome product, I can see why some customers vehicles have made to over 1 million miles!
I have been using 5W-20W in my 2013 Chrysler 200 for 6 years changed every 6,000 miles and my car runs very smoothly. High recommend Pennzoil.
I have purchased other oils but always go back to Pennzoil!
I have a 1998 Monte Carlo I started using Pennzoil 5W-30 for the first 100,000 miles then I switched to 10W-40. I have over 378,420 miles all with conventional oil now I hear that you're going to stop selling 10W-40 conventional oil I hope this is not true keep it coming I need this oil BEST OIL EVER!!!
I have used Pennzoil on and off most of my life. Was always my go to 30W lawn mower oil but after buying a Dodge Hellcat that uses the super premium Pennzoil synthetic I have become more and more of a fan. I recently purchased a used 08 Police Crown Vic with 140K miles. Was fleet serviced every 4-5K with records and the engine inside is still very clean, I don not know what oil was used prior to my purchase but it was changed as per spec. I had a dealer do my first oil change with recommended weight Synthetic blend Ford brand oil 5-20. Now 3K miles later I change to this tried and true Pennzoil conventional 5-20 oil and I notice the normal start up top end rattle noise is gone to almost gone. Strange, to actually hear a difference in a engine based on brand of oil surprised me after 40+ years of changing my oil especially moving from a blend to full conventional oil on a high mile engine. I remember my late father telling me back in the early 70's to always use a good Pennsylvania grade motor oil... Father recommended, Dad approved!
Kind of funny to read all these Pennzoil reviews this oil @ all pennzoil is a top rated now! @ maybe for the last 10 or 12 years but used to be terrible like back in the 70s @ 80s sorry penzoil this oil replace castrol GTX for reasons i wont mention use with confedence its one of the best i change every 3k or 3to4 months there synthetic is great to Thankyou pennzoil for GREAT products!!!
No other motor oil even comes close. Thank you Pennzoil for keeping mine and my family's engines cleaner and running longer for as long as I can remember. It's no wonder Pennzoil is America's #1 brand of motor oil. You have a lifelong customer in me.
I've always used Pennzoil in all my vehicles since the late 60's and also in the vehicles I serviced in my foreign car repair service. Currently I restore old Dodge stepside pickups and always use them in my personal trucks. These trucks mileage range 200K to 600k miles on the original engines. My only concern is the unavailability of straight 40 weight and straight 30 here in South Texas. That 5w, 10w etc may be good for those up north but NOT here in Texas. the heat breaks down multivis oil real quickly.
It was a bit pricey but you did have what I needed.
The oil itself is good and as it should be. However, the shipping time was unbelievablly long. It took almost 2 weeks to receive a bottle of oil !!! I sure won't be doing that again.
