Perky-Pet 2 lb Red Instant Nectar

My mother and grandmother have used this brand for years. We live in the country on a farm. We get many hummingbird families here. This is the only brand that they lineup to drink. It is quite nice to watch 10-20 birds waiting for a drink. I have every intention to keep uaeing this brand till I die or they stop making it.

I know nothing about the Hummingbird but I had hoped to attract them with a feeder. I looked for something that, in comparison, was well priced and also something that was easy to use. This covers both of my concerns and the darn humming birds love it. They often buzz to within a 12"-24" distance from my head when I am attending to the feeder. Aggressive little buggers.

This hummingbird nectar is a favorite with our local hummers. As a matter of fact, they stick their beaks up in the air if I try to switch it out with any other brand. They buzz my head while I'm trying to hang the feeder after having it down to fill for a mere five minutes! I love using the concentrate. It's space-saving and I can adjust the dilution as I wish. Highly recommended.

Nice size for the money. Should make my Hummingbirds very happy. Easy enough to use.

The package I received was not like the package I ordered. The one I ordered looked like the one shown in this e-mail with flowers on it. I ordered one that said "original" in the ad. The one I received is a gray color package . It makes a purplish color liquid and not a red liquid. I am unhappy with the color liquid.

I ordered the “RED” Instant Nectar. The “RED ROUGE” was received which is not Red but a dirty-looking Clear colored liquid. I returned it for a refund.

Sent wrong item, hummingbirds wont drink that color, only red! They sent rouge ??? Last year i had to throw away a bag cause they didn't touch it? As soon as i gave them the red i had over 10 drinking it.

This product says original. It is not. It's the new natural red that disappears in two days. And their price is DOUBLE.

I specifically wanted the Perky Pet 2 lb. box with the six packets as showen in this picture. But what came was "bags" of the powdered nectar. I wanted the measured "packets" So, I returned. Really bummed. Really sorry Perky Pet is not packaging in the box anymore. So much easier for storage, etc
