Tried others, come back to this
We keep trying other brands of hummingbird food. Unfortunately, it just sits in the feeders. As soon as we go back to using Perkey-Pet, the hummingbirds empty the feeders in a couple of weeks. Maybe we just have picky hummingbirds in our area.

Great for hummingbirds
We have used this liquid for years. The hummingbirds love it. The only problem is that other small birds love it also so the feeder gets crowded

Not good for birds - toxic!
I returned mine to the store after seeing a news report about the red dye used. Not only is it unnecessary, it is toxic to the birds. I then went to the internet and did a lot of research. Every article from every expert I found says to stay away from the red dye. Don't take my word for it, do your own research.
