Permatex 6 ml Screw Glue Locks, 0.18 fl. oz Liquid - 28206

I was just about to buy a new sliding glass door handle cause my old one's screws and bolts kept loosening up and the jiggling was driving me crazy, then I saw this Permatex Screw Glue Locks and another Permatex product called Screw Glue Repair Gel, and decided to try them first. I used this product on the screws that screwed directly into the wood. When on the door you can not tighten the screws cause you can't fit a screwdriver between the door and handle back. So when they loosened up it was not and easy fix. Worked like a charm no more jiggling. The glue is very easy to use. The only issue I had was I was not expecting it to be so thin and when I went to put it on the screw threads it dripped on my table. I was able to wipe it off and it didn't do any damage, but keep that in mind. Then I screwed the screws into the wood with the glue on them with no issues. I did this a week ago and so far my handle hasn't budged. I am so happy with this product! Save yourself the headache of nuts, bolts, and screws loosening later on and using this right when you install. So happy I found this product -highly recommend!!!

The Permatex 6 mL Screw Glue Locks is an amazing tool. My husband and I used this to reinforce his gun scope. The scope kept falling off because the screws wouldn’t stay tight enough. So we used this to reinforce the screws. So far he has gone to the range and the scope has not fallen off. We are happy with this product.

Our sliding glass back door gets used a lot, especially since we have a dog that gets let out multiple times a day. Over time the wooden handle gets loose and wobbly and has to be tightened again Ana again. Usually about once a month we have to tighten it. I’ve had this Permatex Liquid Screw Glue on them for the past few weeks and so far the handle has not loosened at all! This stuff really works, and works good. I’ll have to see if it holds longer than a month but also far it looks like it will. The glue is in a 0.18 ml little squeeze bottle. The glue is blue. When you take the lid off you will have to puncture the top a little to get the glue to come out. The glue comes out rather quickly and it was almost watery like texture, I ended with a few drops of the floor, nothing a quick wipe with a wet paper towel couldn’t clean up. It does tend to start drying up rather quickly so not really a messy product. This is now in the toolbox and will definitely be used on those pesky screws that like to come loose all the time.

Screw glue locks is supposed to make your life easier by preventing metal nuts, bolts and screws from loosening and increases the holding power of metal hardware and help prevent erosion. I appreciate how simple the product is to use. The directions are very easy to follow and include four steps. Steps one through four are pretty much opening the product and placing it on the desired hardware. How I used it. I have this annoying door knob that the screw would not stay in place. I would constantly tighten it and it would loosen. So I took out the door knob and reinstalled it using the screw glue. I follow the instructions on the packaging and let the hardware sit and dry overnight. Did it work? In the morning I checked to see whether it worked and I was so pleased and happy to find that that screw is holding steady, has not loosened, and is it’s not going anywhere! I’m very happy with the screw glue locks because it’s such an easy product to use and a simple solution! It takes a lot of aggravation out of simple home improvement projects. You have to try it!

This Permatex Screw Glue is a rare find! I haven’t found anything that works as good as this to keep a screw in. The glue is a little thin and runny, so be aware of that, but it helps when you’re trying to get to hard to reach places. I was very surprised at how well this glue worked. I would deduct recommend it.

I used this on one of my bookshelves and the screw was hard to get and the only way way to have the glue drip inside. The fact that this is a runny glue really helped with that. I squeezed it in it filled the hole without me trying to take the top off. It dripped in the hole and stuck in right away. This glue really amazed me on how strong and fast it is. I really like it. I wish it was bigger though it comes out a blue color. I also fixed my sons rear mirror on the power wheel car. It broke off I thought I was going to throw that part out but I put this glue on and it stuck. I’m honestly amazed. It broke to the point I felt like it was garbage. This glue stick it back on. I will be getting more.

I have a stripped hole where I need to hang.the.bracket.for my curtains in my breezeway because the screw was stripped and i followed the directions on the back of the package where are super easy to follow and once i allowed time dor it to dry and set up, the bracket now stays in place and is holding heavy curtains with easy.

I am a fanatic DIYer and when to comes to screws I want to be double secure. So using the Permatex Screw Glue Locks is my choice that gives me a piece of mind. My last DIY project was a kids storage cubby, I used Permatex Screw Glue and it came out strong and sturdy. I recommend Permatex Screw Glue.

You've got a bolt that won't stay put. It's the bolt holding the handle on your favorite pan, or holding a door knob on its assembly; whatever it is, it keeps getting loose and it's driving you crazy. This gel glue is meant to address that problem. It's dyed blue, which is extremely helpful in making sure you know exactly where you're applying it. After all, the glued in piece is going to be partially out of your sight at some point during the chore. Precise application of the glue is a must. It's also nice that the glue doesn't cure too fast, because that could turn into a disaster for this type of job. It would be a lot more helpful if the packing wasn't the snip off style of tube. When you've got that type of glue tube, application is inevitably going to become messy, and it didn't have to be this way. This company makes way better applicators for its other glue products. The picture on the packaging is hilarious. There is no way you're getting that precise of an application out of a snip off tube. It's still a good product, but the packaging could have been better. If you use this, be ready for clean up before you start.

I tried this on a few screws I was having issues with on my dresser .. I put a generous amount on the screws . Sadly to say it just didn’t help . What I don’t like about this product is how liquid it is .. it’s almost like water and just runs off the screws . I had much better luck over the years with epoxy and wood glue .
