Excellent Collar for my big dog. My dog had a problem with walking ahead of you and also is afraid to get into the car for Vet visits. After using this collar we no longer have a problem. He walks beautifully with it and we don't have a problem getting him in the car. As a matter of fact he loves wearing it and doesn't like if you take it off. I'm a happy Customer. I recommend this collar if you have any of these problems. It works like a charm.

It took me one YouTube video to get a visual on how to latch %26 make adjustments to this type of collar (%26 its links) to fit my dog comfortably so the links stay in place %26 the prongs rest against his neck snuggly but gently. It's been effective already, as my dog likes to drag and dash %26 I now have more control during training. He's already improved his self-correction time %26 I give him treats when he does so to further incentivize him %26 not just depend on the consequence of pulling. Would definitely recommend.

prongs are rounded and not rough. easy to put on my pets and seems to be effective. watch videos to see how to properly use it so your pet doesn't get hurt. there is a special place on the neck immediately behind the ears that it needs to rest. prongs can be removed easily if the size needs to be adjusted.

My dog is a Husky/Malinois/wolf, and Shepherd mix. He is as strong as a bull, fast, and weighs over 100 pounds. This is a good collar for medium strength dogs, but needs a tweek for strong dogs. DO NOT USE the factory clamp! My dog ran so fast and hard chasing a cat that he broke the factory clamp into pieces. You need to connect the collar with a snap hook, bolt snap, swivel snap, that metal clip at the end of a dog leash. Not just any clip, it needs to be rated for 250 pounds or whatever strength your dog needs. The collar is great quality, but keep it dry, it will rust and become defective. The collar is easy to put on if your dog is compliant, but I can imagine it may take a reluctant dog a while to get used to it. I have arthritis and carpel tunnel, and I was able to remove extra links and reconnect the collar without using tools, it was difficult, but I did it. I prefer a snug fit to a slack fit. I have a video of how easy it is to put on, but only pictures were allowed.

I own a large Rotten Rottweiler, she is 120 lbs. and loves to jump and run. Her lead, a steel cable is attached to the foundation bricks of my house. She jumps then runs off into the yard. The second or third time she did that there was a loud ping and the chain just snapped at the ring. This was supposed to be designed for a large dog. Well, must be for a dog under 100lbs.

i have a 85lbs german shepherd mix and the original collar didn't fit so i took out 5 links. it fits him perfect. he was tugging and pulling so the prong collar definitely fix that issue along with training.

it definitely restrains the pull but it pokes eyes putting it on since there is no latch. plus it doesnt take long for dog to figure out he can ease up and slide out if it since it widens when he is not pulling. i had an escapee and it was not good!

Bought two of these for my Rottweiler pups. Although one held up the other did not and actually fell apart while on a walk within the city limits. Not only was this a terrifying situation it also is very disturbing trusting in a product that failed at such a time that could have resulted in the death of my puppy. I gave two stars because the other one I purchased did hold up as it should have. Overall it was a fifty percent chance of actually working or failing a chance I will never take again.

The prongs on this collar are nearly impossible to remove. I am a large man and I struggle with even doing the first step. I've read guides and watched videos. I've used pliers and towels for more leverage and better grip, and it is still incredibly difficult to remove links. This collar is basically worthless because it cannot be sized to fit your dog if you can't actually get the prongs off. Other brands are more expensive, but they actually work, so save yourself every dollar you'd spend on this thing, only to throw it away, and buy one that's actually decent enough quality to perform it's basic function.

i never gor this item. it said it was delivered. walmart thinks you're too stupid to check where you live and wait 2 days to even start a refund. by then, i got something else
