Got this as a Christmas gift for my German Shepherd, who literally tears up everything. I ordered it thinking it was going to be bigger, but that's my fault for not reading further into it and just adding to cart. It's a good product though. It's very durable. It's now March and he hasn't tore it up yet. It's still in one piece has a little squeaker in the horn part what she loves.
absolutely approve ❤️. I own great pyrenees and put mix which means squeaky toys last average 5 minutes ( its a sport in our house lol) its been 2 hours and not only the toy is in one piece ( only second one since we he join our family 7 months ago) 👀, squeaker still works , but my pup is still playing with it. I'm impressed and highly recommend for massive breads with very aggressive chewing issue. Here's a very bad photo of him stealing it back when i put it away🤣
My puppy took to it and dragged it every where she liked for me to toss it and she would grab it and bring it back which was super cute. This dog toy I think would be great for any size dog
If your dog is maniac and demolishes toys in minutes, this is the toy for you! Incredibly, the one I bought has survived several maniac foster dogs, it still lives and gives them great pleasure.
This toy is great. My frenchies absolutely love this chew toy. Extremely durable and they love chewing on this for hours if we let them. Squeaker works but they don't care for that too much.
My 1 year old Great Pyrenees mix is a heavy chewer. She destroys most toys and durable stuffies we give her. Although this product has stayed in tack, she has made a lot of dents and grooves in the plastic. It makes me worried that she has swallowed some of it. She doesn't bother with playing with it much, so we don't find it that useful. You can try sticking a few very very small treats in the back grooves, but they become very hard for her to dislodge and then she ends up eating the plastic instead. It may be a great toy for a less aggressive chewing dog. As much as I'd hoped this toy was a winner, I wouldn't suggest it if your dog is anything like ours and chews up everything in their site.
I looked hard for an affordable, sturdy chew toy for my large mixed breed hound dog. I wanted something that squeaked and would hold up to aggressive chewing. Lucy has enjoyed the toy although it has never squeaked and has probably been allowed 3 or 4 hours with it. I did put a little spray cheese in the slots, thinking she might enjoy that. I thought I was getting a nylon and rubber toy for her, but as you can see it's more like hard plastic and I've taken it away because pieces are actually coming off, meaning she may be ingesting small pieces of hard plastic. There was blood in her urine this morning!
The product description did not say size. But I did not expect a chew toy on sale for 13.99 would only be 6”. The beep button in the center was hard to depress and made no noise. I bought it because it was for aggressive chewers. The material is such hard it would break their teeth, not rubber.
Woke up with blood all over the bed and found the toy. The toy is the cause for the bleeding. She even had a clot coming out. I checked her paws and whole body and after that, I checked her mouth. I don't want another dog to get injured because of this toy. It is a hard acrylic-type plastic, I thought it would be alot bigger and a little softer, but still hard enough to eat. The advertising for this is misleading because you can see it in the mouth of a german shephard, which is typically alot larger than her. She weighs on average about 60lbs so you can tell the seller altered the photo of the toy to make it look larger than it is. Do not buy, it could hurt your dog!
Horrible Product!! Pet owners BEWARE!! This product is mostly hard PLASTIC, not durable rubber!! The ring is 100% hard plastic, only the center is a hard rubber material. Plastic gets VERY SHARP!! I've even tried taking the rubber center out and throw the plastic ring in the trash, see pictures. It's definitely durable, as I can't remove the rubber center without using a cutting wheel or something!! Sharp plastic is very hazardous to your dogs insides!! DO NOT BUY!! This purchase was a waste of money and time. Going in the trash!!
