PetSafe SSSCAT Spray Replacement Can Only for Dogs and Cats, Training Repellent Refill

we tried to keep our cat off the kitchen counters, and nothing helped until this.

I put them everywhere I don't want my animals. Under Christmas trees, on furniture, etc.

Works great in the house at keeping my cats out of trouble!

The SSSCAT pet repellant is a great tool to train your critters to stay off/out of areas you don't want them to be. My issue is the cost seems excessive for the item. I had this item many years ago and used it with great success. I recently ordered a second, first generation SSSCAT with canister from Walmart and had no issue with it. I ordered this refill and was highly disappointed because it did not work, instead it leaked out through the top and would not affix to the collar of the top attachment no matter what I did. It ended up that the entire can got used up while it was sputtering out of the nozzle when I was trying to attach it to the sensor top. Highly disappointed in this.

What I like is it works. My dislike is, the last can I ordered looked like it had been seating on a shelf in a storage room for a long time. The can had been leaking and had dried. The bottom of the can was all rusted. I was lucky it still worked. Should have been written off as damaged goods. But, It does work and I will continue to use this product.

Very difficult to set sensor-everytime I pass the can it sprays,the cat not so much-I bought 3 of these thinking this was the counter cruising solution.....my little Bengal has figured out exactly where to step to avoid triggering can PLUS he's no longer startlled or afraid of air from watching it spray everytime I walk by.......may work for scaredy cats?

Although this works, they are way TOO EXPENSIVE!!

They didn't seem to last very long. I did ask the merchant if they had been partially used and he said no. Nonetheless, I have used these for years and know how long they should last. I get them from a reputable Pet store or vet. Chewy is a good source.
