The roof overhang protects the food from rain! A tray feeder also purchased and hung behind the bird feeder for feeding squirrels keeps them out of the bird feeder!

It's attractive but It's very light weight so that concerns me with high winds that frequent my area. It's designed to be raised or lowered for height. I don't know why a person would want this? Just another thing to break being plastic. The lid is easy to open to refill seed. Despite all this, it suits its purpose until I find something more sturdy

My birds in the backyard went straight to this feeder as soon as I hung it out, they Love it!!! 🐦It is made well and holds a lot of bird food. It shipped fast and was a great price. Thank you! 😊

This is my first time ever bird pole/feeding station. Every morning around 5am the birds flock over my house and make a lot of noise lol- something told me- maybe you should feed them! This is probably thee most proud purchase I’ve ever made. It feels so good to give back to earth and to know that the birds in my area are being fed well. Next I’m going to get a 2 hook pole to add another bird feeder and water pale for them to drink. Set up was so easy- instructions were very easy to follow and pole was easy to install. Only after about an hour of install I saw a bird eating and my smile and heart filled with joy. It’s crazy how it really is the small things that make such a profound impact. I would buy from this vendor again.

i read all the 1 star review, but this bird feeder is expandable- so all people who said is small %26 has misleading pictures isnt true - the feeder comes closed so you have to expand it , the lid has a latch and stay in place - it is really nice - bitds love it ! i ordered another one !

The feeder was easy to assemble and fill, and everything worked perfectly. I did have to help the seed come down somewhat because the feed I chose has black sunflower seeds. Small seeds would have no issues. I wish the landing area were an inch further out to give larger birds some room. I've never had a bird feeder, so we’ll see how well this attracts birds. I'm looking forward to seeing the birds happy to be fed!

The feeder is no where near the proportion of feed receptacle to roof that is shown in the picture. The perches are very small with no room for birds even the size of a robin. I've yet to determine if the plastic will withstand the West Texas sun for very long. I am disappointed.

I'm not sure if the top of the roof is hitting the feeder pole just right, but the roof/lid keeps coming open with a little bit of wind. I really don't see too many birds use this feeder also.

This bird feeder is Not the same as what is in the ad. I get a lot of birds and this feeder cannot accommodate the birds and/or the seed amount needed. I am extremely frustrated with this false advertising. Also, I am very irritated that I have to go through the hassle of returning it. It measures 3 inches high inside for the food and it has another divider taking up space. See pictures.

Pay attention to actual size. I didn't and that was a huge mistake. I did not return it because it was my fault for not doing my due diligence. There is a Cardinal pictured on box but there is absolutely not enough room except for the smallest of birds. There is only 1 %26 1/2" from outside perch to feeder.
