Out of all the feeders I bought this summer this one is loved the best by the birds in my yard. I was pleasantly surprised. This one has a tap top it’s so easy to fill and clean. It held up to the intense patrons including the squirrels and chipmunks. If it was a restaurant I would say there is a line outside the door with a long wait. It has good room top to bottom and all the way around and great “seats” you can’t go wrong with this one.

I like the spring type opening. Just push down on the top and it springs open. Easy to fill. It is the only one I've found that has a big enough opening to dispense sunflower hearts and chips. the perches are big enough for the Cardinals. They struggle to stay on other feeders I have. After the first one I bought two more. I highly recommend this feeder.

This is a very sturdy bird feeder!! It holds up to 4 medium sized birds simultaneously. It has been knocked down twice, falling down to a cement floor, and it didn't even crack!! I was very surprised, because it fell from 6 feet high!!

Easy to fill. Good bottom platform. More sturdy than most plastic feeders. Would have given five stars but one of four arrived with damage to the push to open latch mechanism. Feeders were well packed so I have no explanation for the damage.

*It's plastic and therefore a little squirrel proof for that reason. I find that it's easier for them to latch onto a mech birdfeeder. *The side moves up for those one star reviewers that said it was very small. It moves and you'll hear a click that its locked in place. *The top opens with pressure. So the push mechanism did open one time when a squirrel ascended on top. The squirrels don't like the plastic but they were still trying their hardest. I would watch them hanging on the pole with their back feet, while trying to eat and eventually sliding down. I thought it was amusing but not happy. So we tried a slinky and that was a joke. The squirrels used it as a ladder! Once I took the slinky off I found that the squirrels were not really interested. And since then we have 2 more. (However just a note of interest that the squirrels love to jump up to the mesh birdfeeder). Like I mentioned in the beginning that the squirrels realized it was very hard to stay up on the plastic. With my mesh feeder they can grab on. *The plastic also make it waterproof. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because it seems that the perches are not deep enough for larger birds. I would like to replace my mesh bfeeder because of the squirrels but I would definitely look for larger/deeper perches. We have cardinals and blackbirds that arn't interested in this feeder. I agree with the reviewers in this case.

This bird feeder is Not the same as what is in the ad. I get a lot of birds and this feeder cannot accommodate the birds and/or the seed amount needed. I am extremely frustrated with this false advertising. Also, I am very irritated that I have to go through the hassle of returning it. It measures 3 inches high inside for the food and it has another divider taking up space. See pictures.

Pay attention to actual size. I didn't and that was a huge mistake. I did not return it because it was my fault for not doing my due diligence. There is a Cardinal pictured on box but there is absolutely not enough room except for the smallest of birds. There is only 1 %26 1/2" from outside perch to feeder.

This feeder is tiny….. not at all like the picture. The picture I took shows a stemless wine glass beside it…..

My mistake on the size, I thought the numbers on the size would be Ok. Not...too small, problems for birds (outside) of those very small, to set on the feeder. The mech of opening the top maybe be simple but that allows for the top to come unhinged and dump feed on the grount.
