This television is absolutely stunning. The picture quality is so crispy and clear. This TV has much better quality than a Samsung in a similar price range. The shows I watch and the games I play on my PS5 or Xbox Series X are crystal clear. This TV has everything to support all the 4K features on either gaming system! This is money WELL SPENT. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to be able to get the best out of the gaming systems!
I will preface this with the fact that while I am pleasantly surprised with this TV it is not without its' downsides. I give it five stars because it is incredible for the $248 I paid for it. If you are looking for a TV to game on that doesn't break the budget this is the TV for you. It has 4k 144hz, Freesync Premium/G-Sync compatibility, HDMI 2.1 for consoles, and a convenient 1-button-press low-latency game mode you can activate from the included remote without having to navigate settings menus. The screen itself is crisp and far more vibrant than I had expected. In gaming mode it's responsive enough for FPS shooters and serviceable as a monitor for a desktop computer. The OS is an Android-based Google TV -which is in my opinion the best OS you can ask for in a smart TV. You can download game streaming apps like Steam Link, PS Remote Play, and Geforce Now. You can pair a controller directly to the TV with bluetooth and play streamed games on the screen without any directly-connected PC or console (though you will require one or the other for all streaming apps except Geforce Now). And this being a VA-based panel you get strong contrast via deep blacks and vibrant colors. The negatives I mentioned before are: -poor viewing angles/significant color-shift when not viewing the TV directly-on. -Mediocre speakers (functional but nothing more). -UI can be a bit slow at times. But this thing cost me under $250. At $248 this is a steal.
My son is a serious gamer and we got him this TV for Christmas. It may not be the best gaming TV but he said "it's pretty decent" and he uses it A LOT!
It's native 4k and native 144hz with hdr and freesync and it receives both my pc and ps5 perfectly. The only real caveats are it's a little slow to get going after turning it on each time and the picture modes are hit or miss. Some modes look a bit washed out and some have motion blur as it reduces the frame rate to try and be power efficient. The solution to all of that is to set the tv to just be in HDR Game mode all the time. This mode pins the refresh rate at the full 144hz and, in my option, saturates the colors in the most appealing way of all the settings. Luckily the hdr game mode looks good for pretty much everything from gaming to movies to shows. All that said, I'm still giving it 5 stars. At this extremely good price, it's functional, convenient, and the only real drawback is there's an obvious best preset that you may never want to stray from.
perfect for my little gaming set up for my pc and ps5 pro 144hz and 4k you cant beat it also anyone else looking responce time is 6.5 not bad for a tv
HDMI ports are cramped and feel like you're breaking something by putting the cables in. HDR isn't the best but the colors actually look better without it. Refresh rate and picture quality are fantastic for this price point.
did arrive with a dead pixel with isn't fun at all, but overall the tv is pretty decent. some color shifting does occur when sitting to the side or using it up close as a monitor, but you're just not going to find another 4k 144hz tv or monitor for $300 right now so this is a great product for the price. I'll just have to request a replacement to resolve the dead pixel issue.
Do not buy this TV or warranty for that TV. I've had the TV for less than a year and I called the warranty that I bought extended and they told me I had to deal with the manufacturer. I then called the manufacturer and was on the phone now it has been a total of five hours finally they've decided they're gonna replace the TV with a used refurbished TV. I don't feel that's correct for a TV that I've had less than a year and I bought an extended warranty for expecting that warranty to cover any issues but live and learn.
It was great for 2 days and then the screen started to blink and flicker and its unusable. Absolutely ridiculous for the amount of money that was paid. What was this- refurbished? Broken and returned? I requested a replacement and will update the review if it works out.
The quality of the image is beyond horrible. Everything leaves ghost images and pixilated fuzz from dark and light colors. It has never looked like a 4k image in any movie or video I've ever watched. Even my 720p tv from 2008 didn't do this. I just bought it a few months ago and thought it was just me or a bandwidth issue, but it has never improved.
