The frame rate %26 resolution is really good for the money. Works great for both a gaming TV %26 for watching movies on. The sound quality from the speakers is better than the Vizio that this TV is replacing. I use a soundbar with a subwoofer with mine, and overall the sound is really really good. I am still figuring things out and discovering what all this TV is really capable of. So far I am really impressed with it
I bought one of these Philips Google TVs to replace and old 43" Samsung that finally died. I had already owned one Google TV, so the user interface was familiar to me. VERY happy with the TV. Picture is great! Was pretty easy to set up. Sound is decent. Price was terrific. I highly recommend. I liked it so much, I went back a bought a second one for my guest room.
I am so glad to finally be able to read television guide. This television is very clear and precise. This is the first time I ever bought a television by myself. Thank you Walmart for making it easy and bringing it to my home.
Philips 50" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160p): Very easy to maneuver through controls and apps.. The remote control is good and can be used for other streaming apps. Color is good but picture is not as clear as I expected especially for moving objects like a basketball game. The sound is pretty close to ugly like hearing something through a water hose. I am going to try a sound bar, maybe that will help. Overall, I am happy with the purchase but don't buy if price is over $250 out the door.
Ordered a NEW, as stated in the title, but when I got it up and running, it was already set up with someone elses account. I had to do the reset to clear it all out and start with my account. So it was NOT new like it said. If they had made sure it was reset before I got it, I might not have known it was previously owned. Careful buying from Walmart.
What a great buy! The pitcher quality is gooood! It is light weight, one person can easily handle moving and mounting. Sound is prefect for an in closed room. Like being at the movies. So easy to use, plug in,choose apps, and play. Kid friendly just talk to remote.
You definitely get what you pay for. I have only had the TV for about two weeks and there have been multiple issues with the apps playback and/or audio. I found it very ironic that google asked me for my thoughts on using the “continue playing” section when that is literally the section that is malfunctioning. Every time you select a show and it starts, the audio is missing and you have to come all the way out of the app, go into another app, come out of it and then select “continue watching” and then you get sound. The remote doesn’t have %23’s on it, remotes w/o %23’s make me cringe. I understand most of the world is into streaming but there are many of us who still have cable or even would just like the option to go directly to a channel.
I had television shipped to my house and did not take out of box and set up until my move back to second homes month and a half later. Television worked for one week. I took it back to local Walmart and they would not honor the product they sold. I left it on the service counter at the Walmart. I work hard for my money just as others to spend that amount for a television to only work a week.
Turned off Bluetooth, and without a confirmation or warning, lost access to the remote. There are no physical navigation buttons to get back into the settings, and pairing with remote apps doesn't work. Turning off Bluetooth literally turned this piece of crap into a $300 paper weight.
We purchased this TV Jan. 7, 2026 and we've had nothing but trouble. It has very poor reception, poor picture. We waited this long because we we told to try this and that, we did to no avail! We are very disappointed, and very tired of trying with no success.
