Great bulbs for enclosed ceiling fixtures
I bought these bulbs because they are rated for use in enclosed fixtures. Other LED bulbs I have used did not last long in these fixtures due to the heat build-up but the Philips have done well so far. My aging eyes appreciate the amount of light from the daylight bulb much more than standard bulbs .

These are called daylight bulbs. Since I was replacing a bulb in the kitchen, I felt like spending a few cents more to have a brighter work area. Wow! What a difference. I liked it so much, I changed the three other bulbs as well!

Brightens any room
These Daylight LED bulbs gives off a clear glow that brightens up any dark or dreary room. They are easier on the eyes and the eyelids don't feel heavy, as the soft white does.

Light warmth
Make sure you choose the warmth of the light that matches your other lightbulbs. I did not pay attention to that and now one of my three bulbs looks way different
