The product I purchased was at a better price at Walmart. than other stores carrying it in my town. The young man at the pickup station was kind and helpful. The LED works in my ballast.
I needed to replace the old fluorescent bulbs after many years I first purchased the wrong size and I did not want to remove the ballast so I returned it and purchased the correct size and type A so I could just install into the old fixture. This was so easy just insert properly and it works perfectly. A good price and it works
Fluorescent-esque lighting…without the unsettling feeling that there's a monster just outside the room. Swapping out fluorescent bulbs for LED is about as close to real-life magic as it gets. Installation was simple: line up the pegs with the guides, twist, and lock into place. Then — instant “let there be light.” The difference is dramatic. Brighter, steadier, and none of that flickering, buzzing “Old Fluory” energy. Just clean, consistent light that actually makes the space feel usable. I installed mine in the garage and went with max brightness, which absolutely obliterates shadows (no complaints here). There are multiple brightness settings if you prefer something softer — just note you'll want to choose that before installation. That said, it's easy enough to pop the bulb out and adjust if needed. Another win for Philips in my book. (Full disclosure: I'm a bit of a lighting nerd and tend to reach for their products first — this one didn't disappoint.)
T8 four foot long 32w equivalent led fluorescent bulbs, 2 pack. They were very easy to install, worked without any issues. They are much brighter than the bulbs that were in the fixture. I have a two bulb fixture in my garage. One bulb burned out. I replaced one bulb and was going to keep the second bulb for a spare, but these are so much brighter than what I had, so I replaced both.
For the value this product will save your eyes from any type of harsh light your not accustomed to. My only wish is that the switch that controls the Hugh not be located on the end of the bulb as it may make it harder to access the first time you want to confirm your settings.
I bought these bulbs to replace a burned out bulb in my old fixture in the garage. Due to the new laws banning the old type of T12 fluorescent bulbs, there are many replacements and some do not work. This one works in my old fixture and is a slightly brighter than the other older bulb in the fixture, but they are both the same type of light, not too warm or amber color. I was glad to find bulbs that will work with this and my other older fixture. These are far too costly than this 4' fluorescent bulb was in the past, and should be cheaper since it has no mercury. The cost brings this down to 4 stars. Only problem I had was when I picked this bulb up at grocery pickup, instead of PLACING the box behind my front seats in the car, the walmart staff casually dropped the box on the floor. It was THE ONLY item I was picking up, so being careless with fragile light bulbs is another reason for the lack of all 5 stars. When I called out to him on his way back in to the stores, I said "You do know these are light bulbs, right? Fragile. " and he replied, "Oh, my bad", without any concern.
This review is directed at the poor customer service iv received from Walmart more so than the light bulbs. I ordered 3 2-packs of bulbs and received them with at least 1 bulb in each package broken. This was due to them being packaged with no padding to protect them. Iv contacted Walmart several times over the past month to try to get refunded with no success. I definitely don't recommend ordering bulbs from Walmart, and as poorly as iv been treated by customer service I'll be supporting other stores in the future! The bulbs that I received that weren't broken seem to work fine. I already had some of this type of bulb and I like them so I ordered more to replace old fluorescent bulbs. These are plug and play and work much better than the fluorescent type.
I would not order to ship again. 1/2 of the bulbs ordered are broken! I now will have to return part of the order the store to hopefully be able to get replaced. Should of just gone to the store and pick them up in person. Disappointing and waste of time.
I can't judge this item because 3 of the four tubes arrived broken in the manufacturer's packaging. Now I must drive to the store to return them and hope that there are replacements in stock. This damage was obviously caused by mishandling at some point prior to delivery to my house.
Hello, I received the items eight of lamps or eight of bulbs were broken and I set up to return and they asked me to take them to FedEx while I put the option to take it from my home anyway I'll take them to FedEx and I want you please send me eight bulbs instead of the broken one as soon as possible actually, it was very bad experience the broken pulse hurt my fingers and had a lot of injury. My fingers when I take it out of the box. Also, I couldn't complete my project to change the lamps in my basement altogether, so I change a part of them and I'll work back to put the others there I repeat it was very bad experience by this purchase thank you.
