Philips Smart Plug 5-Outlet Surge Protector, 490J, White

Very pleased with this outlet. May of the smart plugs I was looking at were only two plugs and while this is only two wifi outlets, I love that I have extra space (3 non-smart plugs) to plug in an alarm clock, charge phones, etc. set up was easy through the Philips Smart Select app. Purchased a second one for elsewhere in the house after using it for the first week and loving it!

It super simple to use! And it can be programmed with a timer! Which was perfect as it was needed for my reptile which needs light 12 on 12 off. Perfect!

I was planning on spending $50 on a smart outlet, but this came to $27 and some change. It was here within a few days and now I'm able to 3D print without fear of a power surge and I can stop the print remotely should it mess up!

It is being used in my kitchen. Having very limited plugs in the kitchen it is great to use several items at once.

I really enjoy using the the smart plugs, very easy to setup. And I really love that the smart plugs come with voice and mobile control.

Philips continues to make these without the center screw, which means that any time you unplug something, you either have to hold onto the entire surge protector with one hand and pull with the other, or else the entire surge comes out of the wall when you attempt to simply unplug one handed. To me, that's a deal breaker - who wants to get mad every time you go to unplug something? Because you will, it's frustrating, and there's a million other of these out there that have the center screw that secures the surge to the wall.
