I read what the manufacturer said about burn temperature and possible flare-ups, and I put it at the bottom of a stack of logs and use it as a starter. It immediately starts, burns hot, and heats the living room almost immediately, and then I keep it running all day by adding more logs. Works great

These logs are a little bit skinnier than their traditional ones. I would say they probably burn About the same amount of time as the more expensive brand. The paper doesn’t light and burn as evenly as some others overall, I would buy it again for the price it’s worth it.

These logs are a great value in fact the best I've found. They burn pretty well for about 3 hours and are easy to light. Over the passed few years I must have bought over 30 boxes I've enjoyed them so well.

There are few things better than a cup of tea and a good book, unless of course, it's sitting by the fireplace. The logs are easy to light and flame for three hours. I use them every season and have no complaints. Once in a while i will try another product and there is no comparison. There is a very low ash residue and burns clean. Highly recommend.

It was easy providing I haven’t had a fireplace in along time . Helped with my bill due to very cold temperatures . I’ve arthritis dealing with real wood much more difficult . Love these in fact hope to find more , due to a cold front coming . The service delivery rewards spectacular .!

It’s a good burning log. It’s shorter, doesn’t make a very large fire. It would be good for a fire pit rather than a fireplace

They're okay. Duraflames are slightly longer lasting. These don't burn anywhere near 3 hours. Lot closer to 2 hours. I really don't like it when companies over promise and underdeliver. It would be better business if they changed the wording to "these will burn for at AT LEAST two hours" instead of saying "these will burn for UP TO three hours".

the log is about half as long as the wrapper its in. Definitely the weakest fire available. if you are going for the look of fire and not warmth these will work for you

The product has issues lighting and staying lit. The package claims that it lights fast, the bag goes pretty quickly but the "log" takes forever to catch. package claims big bright flames, it takes an hour for the big bright flames and they do not last longer than 20 minutes. if you buy this product you might want to use a torch to get it started. Or break it up and use as fire starter. Will not purchase again. maximum burn of barely 2 hours.
