[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This log is a lifesaver for inexperienced fire starters or for those that don’t have twigs and paper to get a fire going. It would also help if you have larger logs or logs that are slightly damp. These logs start very easily and stay lit for hours. I actually bought these again for a camping trip I had and am glad I did! It didn’t create any weird smell or anything else out of the ordinary. The price is pretty reasonable too.

It was very easy to light and burned beautifully. I added one regular piece of firewood, along with the fire log to get the aroma because there isn’t much smell when burned alone. I definitely would recommend this. I have purchased more. And will continue to buy again. It doesn’t leave much ash behind either which is good. The bonus of a burning longer than my regular firewood is great.

They were well packaged and didn't seem to have any moisture issues. Overall a quality log that gets the job done. Will be purchasing again.

It took a minute for the paper on the outside to start burning, but once it did the log burned hot for several hours. The packaging made it easy to transport the logs to the campsite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These did have a pretty strong smell sitting in my garage when I first opened the box. The instructions do say not to add anything to the firelog, so it can’t be used as fire starter. You also can’t use for open flame cooking of course. I didn’t time it but it did burn for a while. Impossible to light if it’s windy out. Probably best suited for a fireplace but you’re supposed to use a fire-screen with it. Overall, it does what it says but isn’t very multi-purpose.

It comes with a good price so I would definitely recommend buying this and I will probably re-purchase this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This log was great! I am not a confident fire starter so having the clear steps felt like a cheat code for a gorgeous bonfire. The instructions were straightforward and I had no problems with the packaging catching on, even with some pretty strong winds. I didn’t get much of an odor, but we were using a smoke-minimizing fire pit. My only criticism is that the blaze started VERY high before dying down after a few minutes. Overall it was good, easy to use, and definitely burned well for a few hours.
