Pine Mountain® 3-Hour Firelog

I only used this log indoors. It makes a nice gentle indoor flame that lasts the evening. Wonderful atmosphere for cold rainy evenings or Saturday snows. Easy to light. Lasts three hours with no fuss.

Purchased in the past %26 recently stocked up in case there were power outages with the bad weather. (I had my fireplace converted back to wood burning.) Never had any issues with them in the past.

use as starter log for wood fires, makes fire last longer in my opinon.

It burns as you would expect it to. It's not any better or worse than dura flame.

Really does last the 3 hours. The flame isn't as big though. It's perfect to keep a fire going.

I have tried all the logs on the market, and these are by far the best quality, price, and lasting fire. Highly recommend stocking up for the winter.

DUD-Don’t Buy. Burn a $5.00 bill instead. It was larger than their other logs and advertised as a 4-hour log…but when I received it the wrapper said 3-hours even though it was a noticeably larger log. The paper burned off but log didn’t catch fire. Had to keep re-lighting. Mild Flames for a maybe an hour %26 then it smoldered hot from inside for another hour…then it started smoking. Next day house still smells like smoke from this crappy log. Makes me think twice about buying ANY Pine Mountain product. Even the ones that burn produce a very mediocre fire at best and heat only if you reach hand out very near fire screen. Hard pass from now on.

Only half of these logs light. They burn unevenly. I thought maybe I just got a bad one and tried another one and same thing. All of the paper melts off of the outside right away and the log doesn’t light. Very disappointing.
