We used Pioneer Baking for years and prefer it over any other pancake or waffle mix but our local store no longer has it in stock. A quick search on our WM App and we found it was available for home shipping at the same store price. 2 days later, we had a fresh box of Pioneer in our hands. If you haven't tried it before and buy one of the “other pancake” mixes, you need to pick up a box and enjoy it!
Have been a Bisquick user since childhood, tried this brand out of curiosity and did not disappoint. The taste was so incredible, and the texture of the pancake was fluffy. Our new go-to!!
This is the only baking mix my wife can use and have it turn out right. She tried others when this was not available and things just dis not work for her,
Oh my goodness this is an absolute winner. I can't believe how it tastes just like the pancake house. I was looking for a biscuit mix and the other 'name brand' was out of stock. When I read the reviews I thought I would try it. I have not made any biscuits yet, only pancakes and am going to try waffles next. I am sure the other biscuits will be good as well. Just try it once and you will be hooked as we are.
I make EVERYTHING from scratch. Not a mix in my house! My biscuits are legendary. I don't know what possessed me to buy this. I've never heard of Pioneer Baking Mix, but on impulse I bought it! The next day I made biscuits and gravy and took half upstairs to my neighbors. The husband snarfed his right up, but his wife slept in and didn't get to the biscuits until the NEXT day. She messaged me that my biscuits are unbelievably light, with great texture, and still FRESH! Later I fessed up to her about the Pioneer Baking Mix. She thought I was pulling her leg, so I showed her the box!
I hadn't even heard of Pioneer Baking Mix until I began looking for an alternative to Bisquick, which had become hard to find during Covid-19 epidemic. I saw some reviews saying they liked Pioneer more than Bisquick for pancakes so I ordered it online from Walmart. I was pleasantly surprised. The pancakes and waffles had the perfect light texture and tasted similar to IHOP or Denny's. Those "just add water" mixes are just not the same. I'll be re-ordering more Pioneer Baking Mix soon.
This is a great product to have handy in your kitchen. I first ordered this product about 4 months ago and thought it was time to order another. You can make pancakes, biscuits, scones and cupcakes with this product. The pancakes are my favorites which require milk and eggs. Delicious.
Love it!! Very versatile. Tastier than B-quick. First heard of it from Miss Kay on, “Duck Dynasty.” 😎 I often buy 2 boxes at a time.
Much better than Bisquick, better than Jiffy. After producing baking failures over and over, I tried Pioneer. Aunts used it when I was a kid, but I forgot about it until a friend told me that was was what he used. The taste is what your mouth anticipates after smelling them baking. The one thing I don't like is the packaging, which is flimsy trying to contain the large size's contents. The old time sacks were much more substantial and easier to handle.
I don't remember ordering a “clearance” version of this item. I thought that I remembered paying something like $8.95 for it. The outer container is damaged %26 taped to secure it, while the inside container bag was still completely intact and securing a clean, dry product. Who fulfilled this particular item for my order? Expire date is very acceptable (one year exactly), product is probably good as normal, just lacking in confidence promotion somewhat. Did this come out of a Distribution Center in Siberia?
