My son doesn't like pancakes at all. I bought this brand off of a whim. I made him help me stir them showing nothing nasty in it. WOW, he had 4 adult size pancakes🥞. He's never had one in his life. Now pancakes is all he ask for now. I tried another brand he won't eat it. He said that's nasty. I have to say this brand and flavor is top notch. It has a little sweet cream taste. Please, Please try these pancakes You won't regret it * I just wish they make them in a bigger container.
I used this to make breakfast mini muffins. I added sausage crumbles and shredded cheese and a little splash of maple syrup. They were delicious! I would definitely recommend this product. I purchased a second pack and made pancakes. They turned out lite and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness in the batter.
I came across this mix while shopping on the app. I didn't even know it existed and decided to give it a try. Wow! This stuff is so good. I made pancakes stuffed with cheesecake mix and sliced strawberries. This sweet mix definifely elevated the flavor.
Yum, just plain delicious! Easy to mix. Cooking it is a snap. Even easier to eat. Might even be good with strawberries or frosting. But, just good with maple syrup and butter, for sure. Such a pleasant surprise for tasty waffles. So much better than other brands. I was really impressed with the waffles I made with this mix. (I'm in search of a large box of it, now.)
Delicious taste, just the right sweetness with a hint of vanilla. It makes great pancakes and waffles, we use it for both. I've used it cooked in a muffin tin for individual strawberry shortcakes and it was the perfect sweetness. This is the only mix I buy now.
We use Pioneer gravy mixes all the time. So I thought I would give the waffle one a try. There wasn't much taste to them at all. I probably won't buy this particular one again. I will continue with their country gravy and their brown gravy mixes. They are great.
Fall is my favorite season of the year for many reasons. One of those is pumpkins. I love incorporating pureed pumpkin into both sweet and savory recipes. I love Pioneer baking products and gravy mixes and often use them as quick "bases" in cooking, to which I add certain fresh ingredients and "homemade" spice mixes to create that "made from scratch" flavor in the finished product. To this Sweet Cream baking mix, I reduced the 3/4 cup of water to 1/2 cup and substituted 1/4 cup of pureed pumpkin to the "waffle preparation" directions. I also added 1 tsp of ground pumpkin pie spice (some may like another 1/2 tsp). The waffles were delicious with a perfect crunchy exterior, tender center, and a wonderful pumpkin flavor. I served them with scrambled eggs and bacon that I cooked in my air fryer. At our house, this was the perfect "fall" brunch!
Mostly curious to try new brand and ho we any pancake could actually taste more sweet more creamy... Sweet Cream was a success! Surprised at this appealingly different pancake mix-superiour to national brands. I simply must have a larger bag however!
Waffles made from the Pioneer Sweet Cream Mix were tasty, but did not have the texture I like. I still reccommend as the mix might be good for other waffle makers or for pancakes . I bought for the convenience of the pre-measured package. But You also have to add oil , egg, and water, so it is not that convenient. The recipe barely made 4 waffles in my waffle maker, not the six as recipe states. So I am going back to old fashioned pancake/biscuit mix in the yellow box.
Taste wasn't bad, just nothing special. We normally like this brand for other things, but this mix had an unpleasant texture when cooked in the waffle iron. No one in the family liked it or finished one waffle. Directions were followed. Thankfully inexpensive.
