Pit Boss 1 Burner Silver Propane Portable Gas Grill

It's a beautiful little thing, well made of good quality. It took me one try to figure out the difference in cooking from a large barbecue...but then it was perfect and I have cooked steaks and fish with no trouble. Good little unit. Why didn't we buy a small one like this years ago!

All stainless. Virtually no assembly required...just unpack, cut wire ties, attach gas regulator. It gets to 800 degrees on the lowest heat setting, so keep an eye on your food. The warming rack is only useful if you grill with the lid open. When the lid is closed, there is less than an 1" clearance between the warming rack and the lid. So, I took my warmiing rack off.

Plenty of room for tabletop grill. First use included 8 burgers, and a one spark light. Flareups were few and grill marks were evident. Hoping it was the first of many...

this portable grill is sturdy and reliable. Cooks evenly and is easy to clean. After continually buying cheap grills i decided to get something better and I am glad I did!

We love our purchase have used it at least 5 times so far and it works great just the right size for our small family bought a cup bought a cover for it online and everything has worked out great

Bought this for camping. Decided to try it out at home first and see how it grills. Started up great on the first click. Noticed the temp control only regulates hot(low setting), Hot hot(medium), to full out flame( high). Shouldnt have tried to grill wings. Looks like a nice grill until flames are shooting out the back from the grease fire. Now I had it as low as it would go. Maybe some foil would have helped... Im used to charcoal grilling for most everything. This grill gets hot and I found the only way to regulate the temp is with a spacer holding the lid partly open. Took it on a vacation and it grilled steaks great. Thats when I started messing with the lid. Put a rock under it and held it open about an inch and a half. On low it would get right at 380. Threw my cast iron on it the next morning and it cooked eggs and bacon. It works as it should but as all grills are, its a learning curve. Got to learn the tool. I think it will work great for years to come minus my first bad experience. Im still a charcoal griller but for a quick grilled meal its perfect. Just prop the lid.

Ordered new and was sent used or refurbished grill. The drip pan and where the regulator attached is welded and there were scratches on it which suggests prior use. I attempted to include pictures but I don't know if you can actually see all the welding on the drip tray but it is welded in all four corners.

While the surface area of this grill is good and it was easy to put together, it burns way too hot. Constantly dealing with flames shooting out of the grill and trying not to burn food. You must stand right on top of it to monitor the flames and are not able to step away. There is also not much clearance between the warming rack and the top of the lid, so it is not much of a benefit. I would not purchase this item again.
