Amazing, if your a beginner to custom party treats get this !! You will love it although it do kind of print slow maybe like 2 mins a page depending on what paper your using .
This is the second Canon Megatank printer we purchased. Happy with both of them. Efficient use of ink, very high quality prints (plain paper or photo paper. Easy to use and easy to set up. footprint on the table is excellent.
Had this for over two weeks now and I like large ink tanks and its easy to use know matter what your printing and the colors are fantastic.
Got this for my parents about a month ago to replace a printer from another brand and it works great! Setup was straightforward and I never feel like I have to fight the printer to make it do what I want. Would recommend!
This printer is replacing a Maxify MB2720 for home use. This is a much better home vs. small business printer, and much easier to use. The sheet feeder is in the back, and easy to change between printer paper and photo or label setups. MB2720 had 2 paper drawers, never knew which one would be used, had more paper jams, and poor photo printing. Color printing on Pixma, at least on 4X6 Canon Glossy II paper, is pro, takes a bit over a minute for a print of that size, with results similar to my Pro 100 or commercial print. Copy and scan are good, has double-sided printing (Next model down does not). It performs well, ink use is much better, has everything we need and nothing we don't. Customer service was helpful in steering us toward a Pixma, and I really like the tank ink.
So far the printer has performed well. I do miss some of the features that my older printer has. I may be old fashioned but I would like to have Ethernet. Also I liked the card reader that my old one had. Perhaps Canon will bring back some of the colors that the used to have instead of just black or white.
After using the canon G 3290 for a few months now I find that it is easy to use. It was easy to install. I like the fact that it has a Larger a Ink Cartridges the Paper Storage is good. The Print process is easy the Print Output is easy I would like to be able to adjust the color. The color is not easy to adjust. It's a good value for the money the fact. Cartridges is a plus and that it came from Walmart. They should be easy to order Whitmoor or need it.
I prefer to print full screen, but with this printer, full screen only prints a faded copy.
Upon installation on my Chromebook printer prompted to wait for a phone call . Canon agent insisted I buy a firewall for $199 .When I declined he declared he could not help me install the printer and terminated the call. I completed the installation without him. Felt like a scam.
I paid too much for a printer with such limited capabilities! I also discovered the model number on the printer is not the actual model number! As a result, getting the printer to work was extremely difficult and frustrating!
