I was using the roasted, salted peanuts in the shell to make my homemade peanut butter. But when I found this container for less per ounce, I just had to get it! Planter's has always been my favorite nut brand. It is delicious and crunchy and fresh tasting! It also contains healthy fats, not to mention I have loved the taste of peanut butter. Therefore, to get healthier I now make my own 3-ingredient PB and the salty peanut along with the sweetness of the molasses, just takes my PB to a whole new level! Better than my beloved J brand and I didn't think that was possible! And since it has the salt, I don't have to add it in. If you are watching your salt Planter's has low-salt and no-salt options, as well. Their peanuts are always just about perfect, and yeah, I HOPE Planter's keeps this less expensive then my PB will ALWAYS taste premium! I know, I sound like a poster child, but I am a real person who loves their peanut butter!

Its that time of year i make my peanut brittle, chocolate peanut clusters and this is a huge container. Its probably more than i need but we snack on them tool just to hold us over until dinner, i also make Carmel popcorn and add peanuts. I like these reusable containers for stuff like pancake mix, chicken or fish coating to keep in the pantry also rice.

I buy one of these 2 lb containers every few weeks. This is my husband's favorite snack. Even though it stays in the cupboard for a few weeks, they don't get stale as the container is airtight. As a plus, the empty container can be used for pantry storage for other items. Planters is always good quality.

These peanuts are so darn good and crunchy I want to eat the whole jar in one sitting--but I don't. They come in a very sturdy and handy container (it even has an indented grip so it's easy to hold and/or pour). The twist off cap makes it so convenient to grab a handful, and keeps the peanuts fresh for a long, long time. This is indeed a super Walmart bargain!

Good as you'd expect from Planters! The words in the "thinks you might consider in your review" do not match the product!! There is no resealable bag, they are not sweet, vacationing?, and bag... what? Walmart, do better! they are NUTTY! perfectly roasted and salted. I did notice the nuts are smaller than other brands. I would get more tubs of these, but I am on a weight loss journey (at least until Feb 28) haha

Planters Peanuts are a hit for any occasion. I live in a Capital City and was traveling on the highway in a convertible. I saw the Planters Peanut on the side of the road, and a small bag of peanuts landed in my lap. No one believes me when I tell them it happened, but I promise it did!!

I love these Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts, and the container they come in is a great way to keep them fresh. I take these in my lunch and eat them everyday for a great snack, and they are good for you as a protein source. I would highly recommend and encourage everyone to buy these at Walmart because they are priced great!!! Go ahead and try them for yourself, you will be happy you did.

Dry roasted peanuts are one of my go-to snacks, and I've experienced a huge variation in quality from jar to jar with brands other than Planters. But not to say that these are perfect, but the quality is more consistent with Planter's. So, I usually get them despite the higher price tag.

Very disappointed that Planters has started adding sugar to these. Dry Roasted is supposed to be exactly that, with very simple ingredient list such as Peanuts, Salt. For individuals like diabetics on restrictive diets, this is a deal breaker. Do better Planters!
