So much more flavor and softness than yellow regular popcorn. I prefer this brand and it's a good deal on a 12-pack. When friends come over and try it they are consistently surprised %26 pleased. We raised corn in Kentucky on my childhood farm, so I have experience with white versus yellow corn. I buy white corn whenever I can get it—fresh, canned, or for popping. It's the Bestest!!
We have always bought the tender white popcorn at our local Walmart. It's our favorite. Just the right amount of butter and salt. For some reason our local Walmart stopped carrying it.
My partner is Diabetic %26 he eats this frequently......No complaints, so I know its good :)) Pricing is competitive. Plain white is fairly hard to find.
Sadly, I can't chew regular popcorn. But these i can. They taste great. They Melt in your mouth. They taste buttery. A must buy for the popcorn lovers
I love this popcorn it's absolutely delicious!! My favorite popcorn I buy everytime I can. Other popcorn doesn't even compare it's not even a race. It's delicious buttery taste and has a delicious flavor.
Orville Redenbacher's Tender White is by far my favorite microwave popcorn. It has that "popped at home" taste, pops perfectly every time, and has just the right amount of butter flavor. Definitely recommend!
Way to many husks. Please use a better grade of corn. This popcorn used to be a 5 star but not any more. There are to many husks, it takes away the enjoyment of the popcorn. if the problem isn't corrected it will be time for me to find a better popcorn.
I have two different ways I like to eat popcorn. Sometimes I want it drowned in butter like at the movies, and other times I just want a light snack to satisfy a craving. This specific popcorn used to be my favorite for a light and healthy snack. However, the recent change in ingredients has really missed the mark for me. The new version leaves a greasy, oily residue on my hands and in my mouth. I also noticed that the bags only pop about 3/4 of the way full. Even when I leave it in long enough to almost burn it, there are still many unpopped kernels left at the bottom. While the popcorn itself is still more tender and crunchy than other brands, the new butter flavor is just too much. It tastes very artificial and overpowers any toppings I try to add. The outside of the bags stayed clean and were not oily, which I liked. But the boxes now marked as "buttery" taste just like heavy movie theater butter. I really hope they bring back the original recipe, because this version is no longer the light and simple snack I enjoyed for so many years.
Put this bag in the 8 week old microwave today, just like any other bag of popcorn over the last decade and it was soooo greasy-it set my microwave on fire. It was only in there for about a minute and had popped a few kernels...My child saw I had set it on the counter, picked up the bag, ate one piece and shrieked in pain. I said "what is it" and he yelled "it shocked me." I am not sure if it really shocked him or if it was so hot from the microwave catching on fire it burnt his tongue but I don't trust either and will be returning both.
I bought 6 boxes, because it is our daily go-to snack, and it is nothing for us to consume two boxes a week and because this item is usually not in stock so, I went ahead and stocked up, and 3 bags out of every box have popped differently in a microwave that has popped them fine since we (my wife and I) got it brand new back before Christmas 2025. And with the recommended popping time, we have more kernels than popped corn SO I finally figured out, after a box worth of bags (12), given our low-lying altitude here in the CSRA, and with our microwave, 02:27:00 was ideal. Not great, but fewer un-popped kernels and not burnt. There was a time when there were more than a dozen un-popped kernels, we would be surprised. That number exceeds a couple of dozen un-popped kernels, and it is no longer a surprise but expected. The results range from burnt to exploded, to greasy to implosions. Attached one pic because the other result is we no longer will be buying this product and feeding them to the neighbor's chickens, who, by the way, wouldn't eat them. Not sure why or what is going on, but whatever they are doing, they need to stop production, fire whoever made the changes, and get their act together. $65.34 before taxes or even after them is a lot of money to not get 100% of product use.
