Platinum Series Twisted Terry Super Absorbent Car Drying Cleaning Towel, 2 Count, Red, Gray

These drying towels perform as well as ones from other brands costing twice as much. Several customers stated the red dye bled in the laundry, but the pretty big stack that I have did not bleed. I use Shout color catcher sheets with these towels because of the warnings by reviewers, but I've never found any red on the color catcher sheet or on my other microfiber items in the same load.

These are the best vehicle drying towels I have ever used, and I've used a lot! Super absorbent even after soaking up a lot of water off of the car.

first i made to sure wash it before using it, second, did a great job after going through the wash. nice and thick towel. glad came with two. i would definitely recommend.

Before I could even wash these, I put them to use. We lost power with a storm a couple weeks ago and my mother-in-law's freezer (she lives with us) leaked water as it slightly thawed. Then it refroze in the line and caused an ice plug, which caused more water to leak. Needless to say, we had water on the floor. She had her old white towels down to soak up the water before I woke up. I brought down these two car drying towels and took over. I had to pour hot water down the drain in the back of the freezer and use (carefully, don't worry) a blow dryer to thaw the ice plug in the drain. It took a while and lots of water spilled out before the plug thawed. These car drying towels soaked up all the water. They got really heavy from the water, but didn't spill out or drip any of it! I can't believe how absorbent these towels are--"super" doesn't come close to how much they can hold. Maybe "ultra" or "supreme" might describe it better. In all cases, if they can hold that much water, sopping up spills and puddles, they can certainly do their job on a car. I do recommend these, but with a warning: Wash them alone from all other laundry a couple times first. Once the freezer was fixed, I threw all the towels in the washer on a slightly warm wash (since they were used on the floor, too). My M-I-L said it was fine if they dyed her towels, and dye them they did. Her old white towels ended up powder pink and salmon pink.

My husband is a self-employed mobile auto detailer and is always looking for new products. These towels seem to be a good thickness and appear to be able to hold a good amount of moisture. Being lint free is always a plus because who wants linty towels or lint all over a clean car??? It's nice that they are a pack of two since most vehicles require more than one towel to get a complete dry. I am sure my husband will enjoy using these while working. Totally recommend.

i like the quality and thickness. i use these in the gym (red side down gray side up), se and drying my car.

This is a huge towel compared to other auto drying towels. it is 18" x 24". The Density is 1000 gsm (grams per square meter). This is so thick and luxious, I feel it is as a shame to use on a vehicle. Only concern I have is that since it is thick and heavy, it is bit hard to wring.

It is the best drying towel I've found! I plan to use it on my shower doors, but it's definitey great for drying your car.

Nice size and features that both sides can be used. With each side being different colors it's easy to remember which side you used. Directions on packaging said to wash them in order to make sure there was no lint from the packaging process. Glad I washed them by themselves as the water turned red. Not sure when they will stop bleeding and glad I don't have a white car to use them on..
