PlayStation 5 Horizon Forbidden West Console with Accessory Set

I bought the unit for my 19 year old grandson. He's been having no luck finding it available for well over a year but allas Wamart to the rescue. He's had it for just about two weeks and loves it. I'm not really into gaming but I must admit the graghics are excellent quality. I think he's ready for 3D now!

So, first off - this is not a review on the price. I wish other reviewers would stop whining about the cost of the PS5. There is a global chip shortage and the PS5s are in limited supply. The elevated cost isn't some grand scheme to rip us off, it's supply and demand. Vendors are selling less product and still have overhead, so price per unit necessarily increases. I was happy to be able to find one. As for the PS5 with Accessory set, it arrived in perfect working order and was exactly what I expected. It shipped on time and Wal Mart did a great job of keeping me updated on the status of my order. As for the PS5 - amazing. I was upgrading from my 7 year old 400GB PS4, which finally gave up the ghost. I expected the PS5 to be an improvement but it's a VAST improvement over the PS4 in every way. Speed, memory, user interface - it's a race car compared to my faithful Yugo of a PS4. The setup process was easy and step by step - the PS5 tells you how to do it. There is also a really handy feature that allows you to transfer all data from a PS4 on the same network. I was able to get my PS4 to wake up and do the transfer - including my game data, all preferences, and settings. So the transition from PS4 to PS5 was efficient, easy, and painless. The PS5 is indeed larger than the PS4, but not horribly so - it fits in the same space my PS4 lived in. I find the swoopy modern look appealing and the thing works like a dream. In all this purchase was a terrific experience through Wal Mart and I got what I paid for.

A Sony PlayStation 5 Console was impossible to find, but I got one from the Walmart website. It was only available as a package that included the Accessory Set. I had to pay over double for the package and the Accessory Set was not worth the same value as a console alone. Overall the premium price was well worth it to get a PS5 console at all.

I bought this product on November 29, recieved on the 7th on time and in good shape considering it was coming from California and I reside in Maine. The system works and looks great, however the accessory kit that comes with the system doesn't have the best components. Should be a higher quality for the price I payed for this package. Other then that, I am one satisfied customer.

This is minimally $500 overpriced, my 12 year old has had the money all year to purchase this system, NONE available no where. Mom/Dad found available on here, dad made the executive call to overspend on the system he's been waiting for, for over a year and a half.

Mind you that I gave this 3 stars solely for the price, ouch! Having said that, if the price is something you can live with, this is a legit purchase. Walmart sales these through a 3rd party, not Walmart themselves. These guys are legit but make sure to filter the systems, one thing the site is not clear on is if you are buying one brand new or refurbished so please filter the list so you can get more or less what you want. System arrived a few days later and it works great, issues you may have will more than likely be from the manufacturer and not from the sellers themselves (just like any other purchase). Again, only issue I had with this was the price but other than thay I do recommend this purchase if you have absolute zero luck when restock hit ls retailers.

Missing the controller. Love the system and headphones work as well. Just need to resolve the controller which should have been in the box that wasn't. Can't recommend a purchase when it's not all there, a controller is pretty significant to use the PS5. And it came from a supplier Walmart uses

I specifically bought this bundle because of the accessory kit which never came. Wrote to the company, so hopefully it is resolved, but I'm very disappointed. If they're going to charge this much, one should at least get the ENTIRE product at its finest quality.

This item is a scam. It is NOT a bundle. For $1200 all you get is a console (MSRP $500) and a CHEAP accessories package. I being the ignorant consumer that I am, thought I was getting a deal. The only positive note that I'll leave is that this seller had a PS5, but the only reason they did is because they're exorbitantly expensive. My wife bought a real bundle from GameStop for $800 that had PlayStation brand charging dock, 3 games, a $60 gift card, an extra controller and the console itself. DO NOT OVERPAY FOR THIS!!!!!!! I thought that because Walmart was selling this it was legitimate. Shame on them for letting scammers peddle their overpriced products.

I don't like the fact that WALMART allows the sale of this item by a 3rd party vendor to be sold on their website at the stupid price, but it's the only way to purchase this item, just terrible business practices
