Clear sound, lightweight, doesn't hurt the ear canal, and doesn't fall out of that ear. I especially like that it connect to my phone so I don't have to take off my earbuds to take a call. I also picked up the duel sense edge that's why it's in the pic.
took a sec to connect but once there going there great and also great sounds not too loud tho. You might need to switch out the ear tips mine where to small.
The idea of having ear buds for my portal was something that really appealed to me. Call me a sucker, but the Portal style design and color scheme appealed to me even more. I just really like my systems and the equipment I use for them to match in design scheme, branding, and coloring. I know. It's probably not something that is important to other people and I understand that. I'm willing to bet that there are better quality ear buds that work great with a portal made by some other company in a completely different color or design. If that's what you are looking for or you don't really care about who makes it or what they look like, you will probably not like these as much as I do. To me though, these pass the eye test, which as I said I put a lot of stock in. As far as performance goes, these aren't poor quality by any means. The battery seems to last around 4 - 6 hours which is plenty more than I need for any of my mobile gaming sessions. They work with a PS5 too, but typically if I'm sitting down in front of my system and using a mic and headphones, I'm going with an over ear style. The sound quality is well above average. Laying in bed playing portal, I can crank up the sound and get auditory immersion with deep bass tones and loud cracking gunfire without disturbing my sleeping wife. The volume is powerful enough that I forget I'm wearing them and focus completely on what is going on on screen. I only have two small criticisms that keep me from giving these a perfect 5. The fit can be a little awkward. It usually takes me a few minutes to get them secured and comfortable in my ear to where I don't fear them falling out with normal head movement. Once they are in they are good, but it doesn't go right in easily. Secondly, the case is great in design and looks cool, but it's a little bit on the large side. They don't fit easily in a pocket like Apple earbuds, and getting the buds back in their ports takes some attention to what you're doing rather than just dropping them in. Overall though, the quality is good. Better than just good enough. I have some over ear JBL headphones, and these are just as good if not better in ear bud form. The design is outstanding and no other product looks like it belongs in your PlayStation setup better than these. The quality overall is what you'd expect from Sony and I would definitely recommend them, especially to the gamer who values the PlayStation design scheme.
Bought these for use on my PC and my PS5. They are a pain to set up and the software is cumbersome to find and install. The audio quality isn't very good and definitely not good for the price and in Discord I was told that my voice sounded distant and quiet.
Kind of expensive. They do come with a variety of ear tip sizes but just seem very uncomfortable after like ten minutes of wear. Kinda old looking and clunky to wear as well.
Absolutely would not recommend these. It's just more overpriced Sony slop that is a desperate remnant of when they could get away with having every part of their hardware be proprietary. 1. The dongle does not fit properly in the PS5 console, or any USB A port for that matter. It is an incredibly cheap dongle and you have to shove really, really hard to get it into the port. I wasn't comfortable AT ALL attempting this until I looked it up and found that other people had the same issue and all said it does actually fit, you just have to push harder. 2. There is no phone app for adjusting settings. If you do not have this hooked up to the PS5 console, it has zero features except that sound will technically come out of them. You can get very nice ear buds for no more than $60 that have noise cancelling, pass through, buttons on them that you can use to pause or advance. Not here, in an item that costs $200. 3. It will still try to connect to my phone sometimes when they are both in their case and the case is closed. So if I am trying to use a better pair of ear buds, these will interfere and become a pain. 4. Unlike any other modern ear buds I have used, if you are connected to a device and need to temporarily disconnect for just a second, they will not be able to reconnect on their own. You have to put them back in their case, wait a minute and then take them back out again. 5. While the fit does feel good in the ear, they are awkwardly large on the outside. Sometimes when I am sitting down and turn my head, one will fall out because it bumped against the back of my chair. Any other ear buds I've used are small enough and shaped in such a way that this has never been an issue. 6. The sound is only adequate. If these were half the price and had a phone app that gave you control of an EQ and other features, this wouldn't be an issue, but they're wildly overpriced, do not sound any better than my beats ear buds, while having NONE of the extra features.
They don't hold a charge very well and the PlayStation5 doesn't recognize them, unless the pair I got is defective save your money and buy something else
The earbuds were not in the box. I only received a charging cord. Walmart refuses to address my issue stating I received the delivery, when the delivery did not contain the product.
they are very bulky. they connected once and then refuses to reconnect no matter how many times i tried. i went through all the troublshooting resets and reconnecting and nothing work. had to take them back. i wanted them for a more comfortable device but they were pretty bulky regardless of them working
I can't rate something I dont have. I brought this for my husband's birthday yesterday and when we opened it from a sealed walmart shipping box someone from either the walmart warehouse or at the walmart facility had stolen it out of the product box left only the instruction. This ruined a great surprise for my husband for me. I'm so frustrated that this happened. This is not a cheap gift over $200. Now I'm waiting to hear back from walmart for a refund. This needs to be looked into either the warehouse or the walmart facility needs to be investigated to make sure this never happens to anyone else especially during this holiday time that's coming up. because this is ridiculous , no one has money to be just thrown away by somebody that wants to steal from hard working people.
