Great fireplace poker! It's long enough for a bonfire but works in a fireplace as well.

30 in Fire Poker
Heavy and study. I like that it's one piece instead of two pieces. A little longer would be nicer. But then most of the longer pokers come in two pieces.

Very sturdy and handsome fireplace poker
This tool is really manly- heavy duty and well made. I was surprised how thick the steel was and how well it was made-looks like something you would buy from a blacksmith at a craft show. It is much longer and stronger than a standard poker that comes with a fireplace set- this tool would be at home at an outdoor Fire pit or campfire as well as next to your fireplace.

Simple, does the job.
I only wish that the loop on the handle would be slightly larger for larger hands, as it feels cramped for me. It's a bit heavy and is best off used two-handed. Both ends of the prong and the support are blunt and all right enough for turning small logs.

It's heavy and awkward to hold with no real handle to get a grip on. The prong on the end is too large and improperly angled, getting in the way when trying to maneuver logs rather than helping. The extra length is good to keep a person away from hot fires.
