Pleasant Hearth Outdoor Steel Brackets Adjustable Width Log Rack

I have several of these. They are very simple allowing the size to vary depending on the length of the 2x4 used. They are strong and easy to store flat off season.

All you need is 2 treated two-by-fours and a somewhat level area. A concrete pad or patio would be ideal. Just slide the two by fours into the frames and you can adjust the width of the uprights to suit your needs. I leveled off some dirt by my back fence and added gravel and had the log rack set up in less than 5 minutes.

I have a few simialr racks purchased at Home Depot. These new ones are a larger Diameter and 1 piece! The screws that came with it are a little short. But overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Actually we have not put it together yet but were very happy with the product...it should work just great for us. We have decided to take a suggestion from another customer and will use longer screws to make it more stable. Looking forward to getting it together!

I really like these- they are strong and durable and look great with my early American country style home, whether in front of the house for the wood stove or back by the campfire pit. I love that I can make the length to what I need.

This log rack is wonderful and just what I hoped it would be...delivery was fast and the product shipped in good shape. I'm glad I choose it and Walmart to buy it.

just what I wanted for a good price. Just so you are aware this only includes sides you need to get 2x4 yourself.

Very nice item that does exactly what it should. The only change I would make is to have a way to easily affix another 2x4 or a small bar across the length of the of the rack so that if you have a cover over it and it is not filled it looks neat instead of the cover sagging over the rack

The owners manual warns about protecting the metal frame from “moisture”. The paint is very thin; therefore, I sprayed it with Rustoleum. After buying this product, I found that the welding on one at the base had seeped through in a glob which prevented the pressure treated 2” X 4” X 4' to go through. I was able to use a hammer and flathead screwdriver to dislodge most of the glob, but 1/8” like a nail tip remained. I was able to hammer the wet pressure treated lumber through, else I would have returned the product. Then, I let the pressure treated lumber dry on a flat surface for 3 days prior to installing the screws. It looks great on my apartment covered balcony which has black metal railings. I live in the Southeast where high humidity is almost everyday. The pressure treated 2” X 4” X 8' cost $3.17 each. I had Home Depot cut it in half for free.
