i got this to review the stitches, its been years since I've done embroidery. The instructions are a little hard to understand. If getting this for a child or someone who's never done embroidery, they may want to have someone who knows how, help. It covers about 36 different stitches over the 3 projects it comes with. It only came with 1, 8 in. ring, you might want to buy 2 more

Embroidery Kit for Beginners
This kit is fantastic for the beginners cross-stitch. Several cross-stitches are explained in depth, which makes this a fantastic kit for the beginning cross-sticher.
