This is the version of "poly-fil" that is NOT coated in silicone. Therefore it is not extra-"slippery". It is safe for aquarium use. This is the cheapest and one of the best substances to use for mechanical filtration for aquaria. And, depending upon how you use it, it can also be very useful for bio-filtration. AGAIN... get this particular variety, rather than the more-common one, which has a slightly-different label.

Item states doll making. It is coarse and bunches when stuffing doll causing a lumpy look not smooth and tight. Recommend for more large stuffed animal use but not small dolls.

Well I bought this thinking it was the better choice, boy was I wrong, it makes my Amigurumi projects really lumpy and doesn't retract back if you were to hug it , you have to refluff it by reshaping, I recommend the one with gold on the bag polyfil

one star. the packer placed an open bag inside of shipping bag KNOWING the bag was opened. there was no damage to outer bag so whomever packed it for delivery was VERY careless. i shouldn't have to return the damaged item when i paid for it to be delivered to me.
