I have purchased several bookshelves from several mfg and stores since we moved homes. This is by far the sturdiest and highest quality bookcase I purchased. The only thing that would make it better would be wood veneering . But you couldn't ask for more!

This shelf is super easy to put together, fairly priced, and now displays my son's Lego sets nice and neatly! Highly recommend!!!

The assembly is pretty straightforward. The material seems durable. All the DVDs fit in very well. Only complaint is that, why are there gaps between all the shelves and main frame? Other than this, it's ok.
The dimensions were important, they got that right but, the pieces and assembly not so much. Instead of 2x%231, there was only one. There were 3x %232 instead of 2 pieces. That won't have been so bad because I was able to flip the extra piece. The problem was that the 3rd piece was defective. The black finish (an applied paper) was peeling off and did not have the reinforced plastic insert in the pre-drilled holes. They didn't bother to included the backing which fit into a grooved channel on all pieces. What should have taken 20 minutes became a 2 person 2 hour ordeal trying to fit paneling into the back and reinforce wobbly joints. They did this on the cheap and it shows. Honestly, the packing material was of better quality than the unit.
Wobbly, can't recommend even with anchors. Would have to heavily and thoroughly drill to the wall to make it somewhat usable
