Surprised at sturdy quality
This masher just feels solid in the hands. The one it is replacing was a non-stick one with the non-stick flaking off, going who knows where. It was not of the quality of this one.

This potato masher seems more sturdy and better made than my old one. It is constructed better. I use them a good bit, so I need one that will hold up.

There is nothing like an old fashioned item that works as stated. It mashed that microwaved squash and it was no problem at all.

This potato masher does the trick. It's also good for breaking up ground, beef. It's just the right size and sturdy.

I needed a masher that would work well on mashing my red beans for making a red bean paste. It worked pretty well. Had to maneuver a little bit to get them all but overall did a good job.
