PowerA Advantage Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S - Cosmic Clash

I've been gaming for decades and have always used “wireless” controllers and headsets. Lately I've been getting a LOT of lag between my old controller and my Xbox X. My youngest son explained what was happening but at 78, it went in the one ear and out the other. It's easy for “youngers” to know and explain, but sometimes it's just Too much information. After using this controller for about a week, almost constantly (I'm a bed bound vet) I am pleasantly surprised to see the increase in response time with this controller. The two buttons that are programmable are useful as well. So far I have nothing negative to say about this controller and would buy it again if need be.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Simple and easy plug in controller. No stick drift out of the box, easy to map back buttons without the need of an app. Looks cool too.

it functions the tactile feel of the buttons are rather standard as one would expect though the trigger narrowing system can sometime make it feel unresponsive both in driving titles and in shooters if set to the lowest/quickest trigger pull

I've had 3 Xbox Elite controllers at $200 dollars each. All bumper button issues within 1 year. I play many hours a day and need a controller with hair triggers and extra back buttons. This controller works fine. at 1/4th the cost. It feels and appears cheap but hasn't broke in 1 year. I do think you need to keep it clean from getting food or dirt in between the bumper buttons. or other spaces between the buttons. My kid used it and got food in the cracks and the bumper stopped working. (our fault) Bingo.. Customer service from the seller was EXCELLENT. They immediately sent me a new on in the mail. It is light and slick so i added some skateboard tape strips to the palm arms. It only has 2 back paddle buttons as opposed to 4 on the elite. And that is the only issue i have . But i work around it. OVERALL " 4.5 out of 5.. Take care of it and keep it clean. OK..it wasnt my kid.. i did the food thing. There i said it.

It may just be my fault but the stick broke off of the module and now I got a thumb tac in the plastic to use it

It like I have the RT locks nd things but every time I play it locks by itself

Walmart sent me one from the store shelf, which was an open box and very used, so I threw it away. A brand new controller would have been wonderful.

Got it and it didn't even work straight out of the box

Not a good controller , I have had better ones at this same price . The function is lil slow and connections is a big issues

The item is defective and now have to try to even exchange. Box was partially opened when revived at curbside.
