Best insoles for flat feet

THONG January 4, 2025

My feet are completely flat and I have been having many problems with shoes. I tried many other insoles and none would help. Did not think this would help either, but decided to give it a try after my Orthopedic suggested. Been using them everyday for the last 2 months and my feet feel a lot better and more comfortable. I will buy them for my other shoes. Can't wear shoes without them now

I have flat feet and over-pronate, which strains my ankle. The PowerStep Max Stability inserts are very comfortable inside my sneakers and help to stabilize my foot and ankle. My feet and ankles are much more comfortable now that I wear the PowerStep Max Stability inserts.

I'm having positive results!! my ankle feels more stable and the pain in the ball of my foot that I've had for four months is lessening and going away!! I've been using orthotics for decades, but power step is definitely addressing my specific needs and that is wonderful.

Size 12 fit as expected. Replaced my 25 year old custom orthodics needed due to injury of right arch. Without an orthodic I would have right ankle and knee pain due to the misalignment caused by the fallen arch. These insoles have allowed me not to have to change in and out my custom made orthodics into every shoe I wear. Great product.

I love these PowerStep Maxx Insoles. They were recommended by my PT. I have pronation, especially on the right side. These insoles are much better than the drug store brand ones I used to have. I have bought several pairs now to put in different shoes.

I have overpronation and these definitely help to align and support my foot and arch. They are somewhat thick with a heel cushion so I cannot use them in a pair of Hoka's I have because they raise my heel up too much. They work well in other pairs of shoes however so I will get different pair for the Hoka's. Well made product.

These Power Step Maxx insoles are helping me get through most days. I am still experiencing right foot pain but I believe that is caused by what I have to do throughout my day to maintain the property(2 acres) lately climbing up and down a ladder. May need to look into more custom molded UCBL orthotic for right.

The orthotic itself is working as well as my custom orthotics and is much cheaper than custom so that's great. For sizing, I wish I would have sized up. I wear a 9. 5 so I ordered the 9-9. 5. However, I can feel the end of the orthotic with my toes when I walk and it bothers me. Next time I would order the larger size and cut them back if needed.

DANIEL R. April 15, 2026

I purchased these because I previously owned the standard orthotic insoles for pronation. After one week, my plantar fasciitis seems to be improving but I believe this is because there is little difference in arch support between this one and my old ones. Furthermore, these are meant for people weighing less than 160 lbs. PowerStep does not disclose the max weight and only focus on customer's pain/discomfort/comfort.

They are well made but too stiff!

Thomas April 10, 2026

I sometime over do things. This is one of those times. Simply put, these inserts are very high quality but are too stiff! I wore them to work and my ankle began to have sharp pain. Thankfully the pain is not permanent. I will likely buy the same brand but with less/softer support. My bad.
