I recently discovered Preen's extended-control formula, and the longer-lasting coverage means fewer applications, which is a big plus. So far, it's been effective. I also have chemical sensitivities, and this hasn't caused any issues for me. Living in Central Florida, where weeds are relentless, that's especially important. I plan to keep using this formula.

This has really helped prevent pop up weeds in our mulch beds here in Florida. Highly recommend and will be buying again. It was very quick to shake out and use.

This weed preventer has been a Godsent for an older lady. I used to pull weeds for hours when I didn't use it. It lasts long and the weeds are controlled. It costs a slight bit more but it is worth it.

I initially didn't believe this product would work like the 20 other things I've tried to eliminate weeds in flower beds but WOW THIS PRODUCT REALLY WORKS

It's over priced. Not just a Wal Marr but everywhere. Good product works fairly well but does not prevent all weed growth. Been using it for a number of years with about 70% reliability.

Really reduces the amount of weeding I have to do.

This product works well for preventing future weeds. It has a higher price tag, but is mostly effective. I still have seen some weeds, but a fraction of the weeds I had without it. I would recommend to a fellow gardener. It made my gardens more manageable.

I've always gotten the 3 month control preen and saw 6 months and jumped on it, it doesn't work. I have baby weeds popping up left and right s as though I used nothing at all. Totally disappointed, I was so excited about it too. The regular preen has always worked great for me with 1 or 2 floater weeds showing up which is super manageable. Stick to what works folks.

With all the extra safety precautions over the 30 day version, I would stay away from this version of Oreen and stick to the original 39 Preen that does not have the additional chemical.
