Spruce Weed & Grass Killer Refill, 64 oz.

Had to change to a pet safe weed killer and found this one. It actually works! The pic I've attached is after 1-2 hours of spraying. If the weed is bigger/has a thicker stalk - it may take longer. Spruce was actually faster and more effective than my regular weed killer. It's pricey but I recommend! I was able to spray most of my weeds with a single bottle.

Works as stated by the company. Expensive considering you can mix up a comparable solution ( salt, vinegar,Dawn soap) for a fraction of the cost. If you are spraying a larger area the hand trigger can cause hand cramps and wrist pain. It took about 24 hours to see a noticeable difference in the weeds. I like that it is pet friendly, bee friendly.

I really like Spruce for being pet safe and very easy to use, but I love that it works for wild onion. Sometimes takes more than one application. It smells really minty, but better than driving the lawnmower over an onion patch.

I have purchased Spruce weed killer several times. it is now my go to for killing weeds. it does what it says... kill weeds right away (can't confirm kills in 1 hour as don't check for a couple hours). it does work quick and can tell when weeds turn white.

This works forthose of us who have pets and don't want to poison wildlife and hurt the enciroment. A little costly, vinegar 30%, with salt and Dawn works just as well if not better and a lot less expensive. Not a permanent in stopping from the roots but works well enough. Just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive this Spruce 64 oz Power Wand product in exchange for my honest review. I love how the bottles has safety buttons so is childproof. I love that it is pet friendly so it is safe for our little man. It works great and is fast acting. The grass in my driveway and sidewalk cracks started to wilt within the hour. I also love that it doesn't have a strong overpowering smell. I just found our new go to product. Great product.

Changed my review because I realized after thinking my item did not have a seal on the jug ? Which leads to one to think perhaps this was a Return by a dishonest customer It seemed to be watered down as it did not perform as others had pictured The area I treated gets the scorching sun so should've worked better than it did ? Also for it to be 64 oz. Coverage wasn't there as expected Truly believe my jug was watered down Since I worked grocery retail for 20 plus years I've dealt with Returns and seen some cons pulled by our smiling loyal customers My instinct suspects this was Returned with a "" I decided not to use it So it is not used "". When you get yours IF there is NO seal under the cap Do not use it Return to Store ASAP and mark the jug yourself with a permanent marker as "" DAMAGED"" We tend to not pay close attention with items if they're not edible EX: Liquid Laundry Detergent and Softner ? These were what my experience was at HT because some are not sealed! Should be but are not this easy to use almost 3/4 and then add water Return to store Repeat con. Or maybe this Spruce is too much water and needs a thicker consistency to work better You be the judge DO check for a seal !

i bought several bottles of this because i have cats n we put it on i didn't park on it for a couple of days. the grass n weeds dyed off but came back within a week. was a waste of my money. wish i could get a refund. im so disappointed in this product

I really like this product. Works quickly and my gardens smell nice. My problem is that the wand sprayer quit working. I tapped on the side of sprayer as directed numerous times. Then changed the batteries. Still doesn't work. I've got a practically full replacement bottle I can't use. I don't see an option to purchase just the wand sprayer top. Makes me very sad.

I have used Spruce often to kill weeds in my dog run at home. It is truly dog safe, one of my dogs has sensitive skin and have not seen any issues in skin sensitivity since e-bike started using. Plus it does the job as far as killing weeds quickly and I like the aroma.Trying not to let the weeds get too out of hand. Will definitely continue its usage.
