Premier Pet Replacement Carbon Filters for Dog and Cat Fountains, Pack of 4

I love the five premier cat fountains that I purchased at WalMart many years ago for the many feral cats that I have found and domesticated over the years. The filters are a must and are replaced every 2-3 months for the indoor cats. I would like to see the price reduced some as they have become, as everything else, expensive on a social security budget. Hopefully, WalMart will continue to carry these filters, and consider reducing the price of 4 filters, well below $5.12. I currently have 10 feral cats that have been domesticated residing in my home, and three feral cats outside that will be domesticated when they are approachable. Although it is very cold, the outdoor cats always stay in heated houses within a wet proof tent that is covered with tarps. All of the water fountains, tent(s), heated beds, tarps and cat food are purchased at WalMart. My love of taking care of cats is very expensive, yet rewarding. Thanks for sending me the review!

I bought the premier pet water fountain for my grandcats and they love it. Unfortunately the accessories and parts were unavailable at the stores. Found these filters on the Walmart website and I am so happy they're still available and especially for a good price too.

My Persians and Himi love the fountain I have for these. I change the filter every month, clean every week, replenish every day with ice cold water to top off. A real life saver to prevent urinary infections or blockages in cats…,,this has been the best fountain from Walmart. The big waterfall at the top never spills over, and is perfect for my cats and their smooshed faces! Lol. Keeps the water fresh, clean, flowing beautifully.

I did not receive all my filters. I ordered a 12 count and I only recieved 8 filters. Now I need get a hold of Walmart to get the other 4 count I paid for.

We use the Premier Pet cat fountain and boy our cats love that thing, but it isn't fun to clean. So if you use the filters and keep on top of them (check them every other day to see if they have a musty smell) and put in fresh water every other day---these filters last a very long time. I'd say maybe 2-3 weeks before you need to put in a new one. I did remove the filter that goes around the motor area (which is used to catch hair and things that might damage the motor). I admit, after I removed the filter near the motor (it's a different filter, so not this one on the review), these carbon filters last longer. I think the motor filter was collecting bacteria and making the water gross after only a week. But I took a chance and now only use these carbon filters to help keep the water fresh. If you remove the motor filter you might risk the motor getting hair in it or something, so remove at your own risk. You can buy motor replacements if you need but my first motor has been going strong so far. I did buy a back-up motor just in case and I buy the carbon filters to have on hand. We have 4 cats, so they all use the fountain. We also keep bowl of water in another spot, too, so they have options. Cat professionals recommend having water in a few locations if you can.

Everything went perfect. The young man that put the groceries in my car was friendly and professional. I'm a person who does not enjoy shopping so this service is wonderful.

These are great filters for my cat's Premier Water fountain. They love it and I like that it's easy to clean. When I buy new filters they are delivered very fast.

These are very easy to re-install into the water dispenser, although you have to be very careful to rinse them thoroughly before putting them in; they can and will leave residual charcoal in the bottom of your water dispenser otherwise, and I'm not sure how healthy that is for a cat to ingest.

Did not realize each pack was a pack of three so I ended up getting two packs so now I have six which obviously isn't their fault it's on me for not looking more closely, but couldn't find them in store arrived same day. My cat is very thankful!

I actually ordered 4 packages of these filters, I was charged for 4 packages of these filters, but I only received 3 packages of the filters. So therefore I was overcharged for them, they are not cheap and I understand that mistakes can be made, but do you not have anyone going behind your shopper's rechecking their orders? You have people checking shopper's receipt(s) at the doors as they are leaving, so why not recheck the people that Walmart hires, that does the shopping?
