It was amazing. Beyond my expectations ! I'm usually wary of sweet things, but this wasn't too sweet and very delicious. The cake was soft and easy to eat.providing protein for breakfast. The chocolate flavor made it enjoyable and not at all cloying
Thank you #Influenster@PremierProtein for my complementary premier protein, chocolate chip protein muffin cup in exchange, for my honest opinion. I found that this muffin cup was super easy to prepare. It tells you which to add the water to the line on the inside and then you pop it in the microwave for like one minute and you have a nice protein muffin. I found the taste to be pretty good not the greatest, but it works. If you want to get your protein in it was also super easy to prepare and just take and walk out the door if you're in a rush in the morning and you want to get a quick protein fix. I found that it also stores very well for a few days.
Decent portion to start my day, great to throw in a bag and make in the office. Easy to make and quick! Nice and fluffy, didn't get hard and become one piece but not so flaky it falls to pieces. Easy to stack in the pantry. Didn't taste super like protein, and the chocolate chips were a perfect touch!
Pretty good quick option for a breakfast on the go. It has 15g of protein and tastes delicious. I just used water to make mine and it turned out great. This is my first time trying this, it is a little dry but if you have it with your morning coffee
Very easy do to and would be great as a quick to go breakfast. Just add water(or milk), microwave for 90 seconds and grab it to go. It cooked up beautifully. As far as protein items go, it was a bit bland if I got a bite without the chocolate chips in it.But this was by far the best protein mix cup I've had so far. It does make me want to try other premier protein items and I probably will purchase some of these cups for those rushed mornings!
For the preparation of this item, the instructions are to use 1/4 cup of water. Luckily I was at home and had a measuring cup but if I was at work I wouldn't have had that. It would have been nice to have a line in the cup for some guidance without a measuring cup. The taste was Ok. Not the most flavorful but it had a good amount of chocolate chips.
It was nice and fluffy, I couldn't get a picture before my daughter ate it! She said it was just okay, not something she could eat everyday. The taste was decent.
So as you can see the look is unappealing. I also found the tase lacking. The amount of calories in this is astronomical! Especially compared to the portion size.
I personally was not a big fan of the Premier Protein Chocolate Chip Protein Muffin Cup. It was easy to prepare by just adding water, but when it came out of the microwave it didn't have a pleasant smell. I still took an opportunity to try it, but it was very dry/bland, and the only good flavor was the chocolate chips. I am not sure if maybe using milk gives it a better flavor, but I would not recommend adding water because it really didn't help the flavor. I mixed it before microwaving, put it in the microwave for the time recommended, and it looked similar to a muffin in the cup. Unfortunately this product isn't something I foresee myself purchasing in the future.
The positive-it's easy to make. Add water/milk, 90 seconds in microwave..done. 15g protein, great Negative-it tastes horrible. I followed the instructions exactly but it still had a strange consistency. The texture was like eating a sponge, the cookie part was tasteless so you can only taste some chocolate.
