Premium Grill Assembly ($250 and up)

I haven't used it yet, but it's BEAUTIFUL, well put together, and I CANT WAIT!!! My husband always HOGGED our other grill - now I have my OWN!!!👍🏾😊⭐️

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE. This $96 grill "assembly" service charge provided by Angi DOES NOT include connecting the natural gas hose included with the grill to your home's natural gas patio outlet. You will not be able to ensure that your product was assembled correctly and the grill is working before the technician leaves. The first technician Angi booked cancelled less than one hour before the appointment. Then Angi rescheduled the appointment for a Saturday night at 6:00 pm. I called to say to say that that time was unacceptable and they rescheduled to an acceptable date and time. I specifically asked for the business name and name of the installer, and specifically asked if the installer would be qualified to connect the grill to the gas line. I was told that he would be qualified to do that. The name provided was not the technician who showed up for the appointment, and Angi attributed that to me for rescheduling the appointment --- the appt that they didn't show up for in the first place! The installer who arrived was on time, professional, and efficient and completed the assembly in about one hour, but informed me that his work order did not include connecting the hose so I could test it. So now, I have to find and pay another vendor to connect the grill and test it. Neither Walmart or Angi Customer Service would take responsibility--so much for the Angi "Happiness Guarantee." Buy your adorable Monument Grill elsewhere and have another reputable company assemble, connect, and test it before they leave.

The guy was an hour late seem a little confused couldn't speak English. Need my help and got a little frustrated with me when I couldn't understand what he was saying because he didn't speak English, so I went outside a couple of times to assist him and realize he didn't have the proper tools what are the best spirits for me but I would try it again because I know that's not the standard of Angie's list.

Do NOT use Walmart's “professional” assembly! It is through Angi; the tech came out, unboxed the product, attempted to put the grill together, and just walked out without saying a word. Take a look at the pictures and THINK TWICE before having them come and assemble anything.

I brought this item 2 months ago still waiting on the missing part they don't even respond back to you they have a AI responding then they ask if I want to return it not thinking if I had a way to return it the they said we will give you 25% off still haven't received it so if you can read between the lines what I'm saying don't do it they don't believe in customer care

I was promised from angie that my grill would be assembled Friday June 26 and they resceduled for the following Sunday. I needed this grill as I hosting a party so ended up putting it together myself. How do I get a refund for the fee charged to set up?

Don't purchase this! I ordered this service and was given a scheduled date of service for 2 days later. It was cancelled and rescheduled for 2 days later again. On the day of service, the “Pro” called me and asked if he could come in the morning and that he was 2 hours away. I really wanted him to come that day because we had already waited 4 extra days and my son had stayed home from a family trip to be there when he came, but I agreed to Monday morning. Monday morning came and he showed up 20 minutes late. He seemed polite. I showed him where the boxes were and where he could work. I went about accomplishing some things I needed to do. I went to check on him and he told me he was all finished and he was packing up his tools. I noticed he had not hooked up the gas container and there were a couple other items laying loose around. I then asked him about that and he reluctantly showed me that he had put the whole bottom of the grill together wrong. I asked him to fix it. He told me he could come back in two days. I explained I wanted it today. He said he didn't have time. So I agreed hesitantly. As I was cleaning up the mess he left, I noticed more pieces not attached to the grill and a long metal bar and screws thrown into the box of trashed items he had created. I called him. He told me he didn't need those pieces. I asked if he didn't need them or the grill didn't need them. He told me I was rude and he wasn't coming back. I called Angi. They said they would send out someone new on Wednesday at 11. This was cancelled a half hour before the service was to be done. It was rescheduled for 5 days later. I used the chat function to explain this wasn't acceptable after the wait I had had and the issues from the first Pro. They put in a new time for 5 pm this evening. Again rescheduled a half hour before the appointed time. I called and requested a full refund. At first I was told they could only give me 50%. I told them i would not accept that. Now I'm told they will refund my money in 5-10 days. Hopefully that is true. Don't waste your time or money!

It's been almost 4 weeks since I have purchased this grill, along with Angi to get assembly, and my grill is still not up. I have rescheduled three times because at the 11th Angi would cancel out on me. I would purchase the product. The partnership that Walmart has with Angi is a joke. I will never use their service again. Hopefully, Walmart will give me a refund for a service that was not useful to me at all.

I'm still waiting to hear from them to do the assembly... the delivery drivers left it in the middle of the driveway and drove off... the notice I got said it was left at the front door... hah! what a joke... done with Walmart

My review is focused on the company Angi, not the pro that was assigned. Even though the job was not completed because of a defective product, they still charged me over $100.
