Premium Grill Assembly ($250 and up)

I am still waiting on the refund for the assembly portion of this returned order. Angi is now telling me refund is completed on their end and funds will come directly from Walmart. Exact opposite of what I was told from Walmart who said Angi will refund. Very frustrated.

The assembly person was awful. He complained that he had to move the grill and set it up in the sun and heat. We live in Florida. Why did he accept the job if he didn't want to work outside. He wanted a shaded area with a fan to set it up in. We don't have that. He was not familiar with the grill or how to set it up. He had to read the directions. I offered large sun umbrella a fan and water. It took forever for him to set it up. When he was done, he told me that I had to light it up. I asked him if he had tried it first, he said no. That I had to do it. I don't mind paying for it to be assembled, but it should have come assembled, i should not have had to wait 2 days and he should have lit it to make sure he put it together. The man is in the wrong business.

That your customer SERVICES SUCKS!! There is NO REAL GOOD REASON why you should get this VERY LOW RATING!! However, you will get it because YOU EARNED IT!! As of thism day I have called many times to get the OLD GRILL REMOVED,,,,,,,,,,,,,YOU do not answer your phone OR PROVIDED A REASONABLE TRANSFER!! I paid for the old grill to be removed, but the installer stated that it was not the job that he bidded on/and or accepted!! Maybe that's true, or maybe it's not!! BUT THE GRILL IS STILL IN MY BACKYARD AS OF THIS WRITING! I DO NOT KNOW WHO DROPPED THE BALL, BUT I PAID AND I AM THE ONE SUFFERING WITH THE OLD GRILL STILL IN MY BACK YARD AS OF THIS WRITING!! It has been suggested by my neighbor to sit it on the street and prehaps a collector will come by and remove it. I am thinking about doining it now, but that stirs my emotions to think about the TRUTH THAT I JUST WROTE!! You collected the FEE, but you have not collected the OLD GRILL?JUNK!!

I would like my refund asap for the assembly of the grill! Angi provided someone to put it together and that person did not show up! No other arrangements were made to get grilled assembled. I found and paid someone else not fromAngi's to do the job!

1) The offer for this service did not state that the item had to be brought back to the store for the assembly. 2) I was not asked to schedule a convenient time for the service. 3) I purchased the service believing they would come to my house to do the assembly. 4) I paid $95 and got absolutely nothing - assembled it myself because I could not take off work to meet your schedule.

Anji cancelled the job for the second time. It was a two man job and only one man showed up. I am cancelling the whole thing and want a full refund.

Don't purchase this! I ordered this service and was given a scheduled date of service for 2 days later. It was cancelled and rescheduled for 2 days later again. On the day of service, the “Pro” called me and asked if he could come in the morning and that he was 2 hours away. I really wanted him to come that day because we had already waited 4 extra days and my son had stayed home from a family trip to be there when he came, but I agreed to Monday morning. Monday morning came and he showed up 20 minutes late. He seemed polite. I showed him where the boxes were and where he could work. I went about accomplishing some things I needed to do. I went to check on him and he told me he was all finished and he was packing up his tools. I noticed he had not hooked up the gas container and there were a couple other items laying loose around. I then asked him about that and he reluctantly showed me that he had put the whole bottom of the grill together wrong. I asked him to fix it. He told me he could come back in two days. I explained I wanted it today. He said he didn't have time. So I agreed hesitantly. As I was cleaning up the mess he left, I noticed more pieces not attached to the grill and a long metal bar and screws thrown into the box of trashed items he had created. I called him. He told me he didn't need those pieces. I asked if he didn't need them or the grill didn't need them. He told me I was rude and he wasn't coming back. I called Angi. They said they would send out someone new on Wednesday at 11. This was cancelled a half hour before the service was to be done. It was rescheduled for 5 days later. I used the chat function to explain this wasn't acceptable after the wait I had had and the issues from the first Pro. They put in a new time for 5 pm this evening. Again rescheduled a half hour before the appointed time. I called and requested a full refund. At first I was told they could only give me 50%. I told them i would not accept that. Now I'm told they will refund my money in 5-10 days. Hopefully that is true. Don't waste your time or money!

The BBQ arrived with a dent on the lid. We paid to have it assembled and the technician found multiple scratches throughout the BBQ grill. The automatic igniter for the single side burner does not work. We have to ignite the burner with a match. We have used the griddle and the grease catcher is useless. The grease drips from a corner and does not run down the indented path.

I was promised from angie that my grill would be assembled Friday June 26 and they resceduled for the following Sunday. I needed this grill as I hosting a party so ended up putting it together myself. How do I get a refund for the fee charged to set up?

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE. This $96 grill "assembly" service charge provided by Angi DOES NOT include connecting the natural gas hose included with the grill to your home's natural gas patio outlet. You will not be able to ensure that your product was assembled correctly and the grill is working before the technician leaves. The first technician Angi booked cancelled less than one hour before the appointment. Then Angi rescheduled the appointment for a Saturday night at 6:00 pm. I called to say to say that that time was unacceptable and they rescheduled to an acceptable date and time. I specifically asked for the business name and name of the installer, and specifically asked if the installer would be qualified to connect the grill to the gas line. I was told that he would be qualified to do that. The name provided was not the technician who showed up for the appointment, and Angi attributed that to me for rescheduling the appointment --- the appt that they didn't show up for in the first place! The installer who arrived was on time, professional, and efficient and completed the assembly in about one hour, but informed me that his work order did not include connecting the hose so I could test it. So now, I have to find and pay another vendor to connect the grill and test it. Neither Walmart or Angi Customer Service would take responsibility--so much for the Angi "Happiness Guarantee." Buy your adorable Monument Grill elsewhere and have another reputable company assemble, connect, and test it before they leave.
