Prep Solutions 6" Stainless Steel Strainer

I needed a replacement for the small strainer I've been using for years that had a plastic handle that broke. I'm very pleased with this new one. It is dishwasher safe, which is a plus and is sturdy. I think this one will last even longer than my previous strainer.

We needed a new one as the metal mesh our old one was separating from the handle and frame. I was really pleased when this showed up and the construction seems much better than our old one! It seems very unlikely that the mesh will separate, so I'm happy! Also survives the dishwasher just fine. Nothing fancy but it works! Make sure you read the dimensions, I got it knowing it was on the smaller side (works for us) but depending on how you want to use it this one might be undersized.

Bought this for a quick easy strainer as well as to sift in dry ingredients. I've only used it as a strainer so far but I can't tell it will work well to sift for my purposes. Size is nice and can go in the dishwasher.

The strainer is a solid construction. I use it with cheese cloth liner to turn the watery TJ goat milk yogurt to greek type yogurt and it holds about half the quart container.

This stainless steel has a nice long handle, and perfect size screen area for draining a can of crushed pineapple. That's why I bought it.
