Prep Solutions Dual-Ended Nylon Veggie Brush

The stiffer bristles are great for potatoes. I usually use a clean dishrag to wash my potatoes, not anymore. This is easier and seems a bit faster. Plus I don't also get a bath from the washrag flopping around; that in itself is great. I haven't had the need to use the softer bristles, so I cannot attest to them, but they are soft and would be a gentle clean for the more delicate produce. To clean, I rinse after every use and at the end of the day I put it in my unused bleach dishwater, let it soak for 2 minutes, then remove and rinse thoroughly.

Really like this veggie cleaning brush. It does an excellent scrubbing job to get off any yuckies. It has 2 types of brushes, a firmer one for heartier fruits & veggies, and a soft bristle brush for more fragile ones. I like that youcan use it with both brushes on it, or remove them and use one or the other. I also appreciate that the soft bristle brush can be used on either side of the main brush. Overall, a great produce cleaning brush that we will get lots of use out of. I received this item in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This bristle produce brush is wonderful! I love how it has the soft bristles as well as stiffer ones depending on the need you have. I actually had been using a nail brush to clean my food and was very happy to get this one. I like how it can stand on end so it dries easier and the grey color is so neutral it goes with my decor. I also like how the soft bristle scrubber pops out. there can be two of us cleaning veggies or fruit at the same time. we don't have to wait for one to finish to use it. when you pop off the small one, it gives the larger one a more comfortable grip to clean your food. They are both well made and very comfortable to use. it's almost like a soft rubber material. easy to keep clean and dries quickly

This review is about the Prep solutions veggie brush. This veggie brush is a dual brush, there is a small brush with soft bristles, and there is a larger brush with more firm bristles. The two brushes are able to attach to one another which makes it convenient while drying. The bristles are made from a nylon material. The bristles on the soft brush are very delicate on the fruit and vegetables. The bristles on the large brush are firm, but still delicate. I like the Prep solutions dual veggie brush because it is very gentle on the food. When the two brushes are attached together, the larger brush is able to sit on its side so that the brushes may dry completely, which is a very necessary feature. The Prep solutions dual veggie brush is a must-have item in the kitchen. It is very easy to use, sturdy, very well crafted, easy to wash, easy to dry, and very lightweight. The larger veggie brush with the firm bristles has an opening that I tend to use for my finger while washing fruit and vegetables. I'm not sure if that's what it's for but, I found it convenient and it keeps me from dropping the brush while using it. The Prep solutions dual veggie brush is an awesome product and I highly recommend it.

These are the perfect shaped food brushes. I never used to use brushes because some them were bigger than I wanted and they often had those long handles, so it was easy to confuse them with those dishwashing brushes. With these two there is no confusion at all. It is easy for me to grip and I can scrub the dirt off my potatoes and other root veggies I get from the farmer's market. I like the color too. And the two sizes is great, I can use the small one for my small potatoes and pickles and the larger one for everything else.

Genius design! It includes larger bristles that are good for scrubbing potatoes (which we do a lot, especially in the summer) as well as softer bristles (we use for celery). It's small enough for my hands, but my husband uses it fine also. It's sturdy and easy to clean. We're going to be glad to have this tool through the holiday season also!

I knew I needed something like this but I never had one until now. Works way better than my fingers when it comes to cleaning veggies. Hopefully, the veggies are really clean after a good scrub with this brush. Just don't apply too much pressure when scrubbing if you decide to try it on tomatoes...like I did....be gentle--otherwise, it worked really well on the hard surface veggies like cucumbers.

However, this is still a good vegetable brush, and the functionality is pretty much the same as what you see modeled in the picture. There's a bigger brush with stiffer bristles for washing things with tougher skins like potatoes and turnips. There's also a small brush that pops out of the big brush, with softer bristles for items with more delicate skins, like tomatoes and strawberries. You can also keep the brushes attached, though for what purpose I'm honestly not sure. For shucking corn maybe? I haven't tested that particular theory yet. I can tell you that the grips on each brush are comfortable and the bristles do what you hope they'd do: efficiently clean the fruit or veggie without tearing it up. I'm glad I got it to replace my old corn brush.

This brush is a perfect size for my small hands to tackle brushing off tough potato dirt, or gentle enough for removing excess corn 'hair' from fresh cobbs. Giving this 4 stars because the brush I received does not look like the one pictured with the product info online. The one I have is grey and the softer bristled mini brush can pop in and out of the base - making it handy for easy cleaning. The small size and the flat end helps it sit upright on the edge of the sink, ready to use. The combination of soft bristles on one brush and firmer ones on the larger grey body was a great idea by the manufacturer. Sturdy plastic with a soft silicon outer coating makes it easy on the hands.

I really like the dual brush for different kinds of produce. The brush works well, I just wish it was a little bit bigger as I have large hands and it occasionally slips out of my hand. They are two different pieces but even with vigorous brushing the softer bristles section doesn't fall off. Really great product, just wish it was formed a bit better to fit in my hand.
