PrepSolutions Multi-Purpose Mandolin Plus

Bought it bc of the reviews and didn't disappoint! The blade is amazing and goes very smooth… if you're reading this pls be careful when handling! I'm a bartender and I cook at home! This is perfect for salads, garnishes, potatoes… I clean it right after and I'm being very careful… so far looks like will be in my kitchen x a while!

This mandolin is well-designed, without removable blades, that may be misplaced. It seems to be made for a wide variety of cuts, styles, and capabilities. The blades are really sharp, allowing it to work smoothly. But be careful handling it. I am but I still managed to cut myself, just picking it up because I had forgotten to ‘zero' the blade clearance after its last use.

Replaced an old broken mandolin. This one has a number of great features. The blade is sharp and the grip makes it so I don't have to use a towel. Also affordable.

This is the best mandolin I have ever used! It's so easy to use and clean, and I love the versatility! It's amazingly easy to change the thickness of slices, and the blade lock is a great safety feature! I highly recommend!

Very study and works great. I really like that you can change and lower the blade easily and you do not have to handle a blade just flip a knob. You MUST pull the knob out to turn it. This all makes it so much safer and definitely easier. Safety was a big factor for me. It states not dishwasher safe but I've been putting it in the dishwasher for 6 months of very frequent use and have not noticed any deterioration. If it doesn't last as long as it would with hand washing that's ok with me. I'll trade longevity for convenience.

Overall, I like this mandolin. It's fairly sturdy while being used. Easily cleaned. Features/different cuts easy to switch between. Blades could be a bit sharper though. The food holder is best used for larger vegetables or fruits.

comes off as flimsy. the blade is glued to knobs and when you come back with slicing it kinda bows in and catches the item youre slicing. neat switching blade option. havent figured out how to cut precise waffle fries. the safty guard have plastic spikes to futher secure food, but as you get closer to the blade you tend to slice off the spikes leabing tiny bits you have to pick out.

I literally cut off the end of my middle finger the first time I used it. Blade extra sharp but not the problem. The round hand guard couldn't hold the cucumber or a smaller size tomato. It's worthless to me! I don't think I have the nerve to try this piece of junk.

This mandolin is great if you love plastic in your food! the plastic hand guard gets shaved by the blades. dont buy

the thickness adjustment knob broke off during first use. the item then became dangerous because the blade is very sharp and i could not return it to the safety position leaving the blade exposed.
