To try and form a row whether horizontally, vertically or diagonally. While trying to block your opponent from doing the same. The first one who forms a line wins. It's a fun game that challenges one to think quickly.

It's very simple to play just place your piece in one the slots and hope that your opponent don't block you. My family and I love playing this game because it get you thinking. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a very simple easy to put together game that my children can play by themselves and not many games are like this and for that I like this game and the rules of the game are fairly easy to understand for the ages that the box says its for. I also like the game because it teaches just taking turns.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to play with my kid and it's ok. Good fun east set up. I don't like u have to turn it over to get the piece but that's OK. We also use it as a counting tool to learn math and stuff. Not really for a 4 yr old to play and not keep going. But Allen all good fun.

As a kid who grew up playing Connect Four, I was a little disappointed that this version didn't have the release switch on the bottom. You actually have to take the board off the frame to get the chips out, which is kind of annoying. If you will be playing a lot with the kids, I'd consider the OG Hasbro Connect Four, especially for the nostalgic reasons if you had one when you were a kid.
