Prestone Platinum American Purple Antifreeze and Coolant 1 Gallon Prediluted

Factory spec for 5th gen Rams that have the purple coolant. Manufacturers change coolants, so look at your coolant soec and color first to see if this coolant is correct. My owners manual called for this spec and i verified its purple color in my overflow tank. I have a 2020 Ram 5th gen. I usually prefer concentrate so I can mix my own with distilled water, for better value, but at the time, this premix was what i ended up with. I dont like the "universal" coolants, so i stick with a factory spec type coolant. You don't need coolant often, so I dont suggest skimping or settling, when it comes to this. The price is neglible.

With newer cars requiring specialized Antifreeze it is sometimes difficult to find the type you need. This works in my car %26 is less expensive that a speciality car store.

This product by all my research is one of the best coolants on the market and Wal-Mart is the only local store that carries it. It is also cheaper than other brands of coolant that provide less protection.

Had no idea OEM coolant for Jeeps is Purple, drained the orange one it had, did a chemical flush %26 put 1 %26 1/2 gallons of this Purple stuff and my jeep is running like new again, no more heating issues! Don't cheap out %26 put your car at risk of overheating by using cheaper coolant. 5 Stars! %26 cheaper than any autozone or advance auto parts.

The cars today require specific Coolant/antifreeze. Nice to have an option like Prestone in comparison to Mopar or Zerex
