Pro-Mix BX Mycorrhizae Garden Plant Flower Growing Medium, 2.8 Cu Ft

Pro-Mix BX Mycorrhizae Gardening Mix is formulated for moisture retention and good drainage. Since I garden exclusively in containers on a west facing deck, it's important that my containers have good drainage as well as good moisture retention. Pro-Mix BX contains a larger chunky perlite, vermiculite, peat and mycorrhizae. This mix works best for situations requiring good drainage as well as some moisture retention. I'm growing healthy lettuce in pots with this mix. I also plan to use Pro-Mix BX in some of my flowerbeds this year. Although this growing mix is somewhat costly, I definitely recommend it for serious gardeners.

This is an excellent product for all things plants. I have been using it for years. However, the bag is large and heavy and now with Walmart delivering it to my door, I can again enjoy this quality product.

This soil was absolutely amazing. The special ingredient that it has “mycorrhizae” really made my plants grow healthier, stronger and greener one month prior I transplanted my Delphium using miracle grow and the miracle grow plants were very pale and leggy. You can see the difference in the photos. The ones planted with Miracle Grow were started one month earlier. I thought it was Jiffy mix, but it wasn’t. It was Miracle Grow.

I bought a planter that said to use only BX. I found some online at Walmart, the price was good and it arrived in a couple of days. I filled the planter with BX and added some flowers. So far so good thanks Walmart!
