PRO-MIX Premium Organic Garden Soil Mix, 2 Cu ft Compressed Bale

It's a good quality product. I used to get the Pro-Mix several years ago, but it had large wood chunks in it that had to be removed. This seems like a finer mix and very compressed. Just add water and it's great for making my germination blocks in seed trays.

This is the best bang for your buck POTTING soil you can buy. HOWEVER, keep in mind that you will need to amend it with other things depending on what stage your plants are in. You might need to add bone meal, blood meal, compost, worm casting, fertilizer, etc...

proMix is my "go to" soil for my seedlings and raised beds. Clean, light soil. No "forest products", twigs, chunks. worth the cost, because i dont need to add other amendments to make it good for my seeds and plants. i used to buy based on price, or name (MiracleGro). but after ProMix was recommended to me by gardeners who really know their stuff, i tried it....now its all I'll buy.

I have used this mix for starting tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and basil. This medium works for cuttings from rose scented geraniums, re- potted apricot scented geraniums, and other houseplants. Nice addition to the garden whether a container or garden bed. Thumbs up..

I love Pro-Mix and use it often, however I do not think it expands like it states it does. And they have gotten very expensive over the last several years so I do buy other alternatives because of cost. I buy mycorrhizae and add it into all my postings, flowers beds, perennials etc.

I love the stuff. I'm not sure it's equal to two bags, that this one and another one that has a red label are both packaged where in I can pick them up after having a broken back and still recovering. Really love the sale price exclamation exclamation.

I ordered this item because I had such a good response from my plants after using so many that disappointed. However, this item was for 2 cu and I ordered two and paid full price only to receive 2 orders of 1 cu, half of what was advertised. Please send me the remaining 2 cu that I paid for.
