The blades are very sharp[probably as they are new] and they grate or slice easily (be careful) it's made of high-quality stainless steel so there is no problem with rust or corrosion, the rubber base keeps it steady so it doesn't slip while using. To sum up it is easy to use easy to clean and by all appearances very durable. You can probably pass it to your grandkids

This is a very nice grater. I love that all four sides have different options. There is a slicer on one side which is very handy. I use this quite often to grate different cheeses. I also use it to grate carrots and other veggies. I've used the slicer for cheese and cucumbers. I would recommend this product.

Very useful in the kitchen. The size surprised me, is definitely bigger than my previous one, and after using it, I just love it. Grates so much easier than my old graters. The grater base is stable and the stainless ( a must, never rusts) . My previous one was very small and mainly used it for cheese. This is so big, is really easy to slide fruits and vegetables of all sizes. Hash browns use a hand thing to do, and now with this grater allows easy grating in just a fraction of time. The base is very stable, it has a handle for easy grab. It has many pros: -easy to clean without grating your knuckles when washing inside. Straight sides are problematic, the wider base makes it so much easier. -Stainless steel material -the bigger sizes allow me to use with more vegetables and fruits. Great add on to my kitchen.

What a fantastic box grater! Definitely the best one I have ever owned and used. It works beautifully as intended, and the sharpness of this professional box grater is able to slice, shred and zest vegetables, fruits, cheese and even nuts easily, efficiently and quickly. The rubber edge at the bottom is very helpful and keeps the grater in place at any angle, and it can easily be removed for cleaning after each use. I am impressed with how heavy duty this XL Box Grater is. It is quite a bit larger than my current one and much more durable feeling. My old one is very old, but still works great and is very sharp. However, it is not built as sturdily as this new one and the handle has become bent from many years of use. While it still does what I need it to do, the bent handle makes it hard to hold on to sometimes so it was definitely time for an upgrade. This new one is very large which is great. It is also very sharp and works just perfect. I used it to shred some cheese and it had no trouble with that. It has a very sturdy handle and the base has a bit of rubber around it which makes it more steady and stable. It has 4 different options for shredding, slicing, grating, etc. . Which is pretty standard for one of these box graters. I can tell that this particular one is going to hold up well and get me through a lot of shredding for years to come. I definitely recommend this XL Box Grater if you are looking for an upgrade or just something new.

I was tired of having so many kinds of graters, most of which just end up taking forever to grate enough of anything to be a real help. This has 3 different grate sizes and it makes slices too, I actually like really fine shredded cheese for salads but I like a little more substantial shredded cabbage for coleslaw so having this has enabled me to get rid of some drawer clutter. I used a food processor before with the grater attachment, what a mess to clean up, rather just use the box grater because it's just as fast and less cleaning afterwards. The grater has a removable rubber gasket that keeps the grater from sliding all over while I use it, I haven't had a mess since. I can finally cut thin potato slices for chips with ease or slice cheese for cheese and crackers faster than with a knife. I got ride a of a few flat graters and donated my food processor, since I only used it for coleslaw and using the box grater was just as fast and less mess to clean. I recommend this box grater for zesting fruits, slicing cheese and potatoes, grating everything from cheeses to fruits and vegetables.

I got this box grater a few days ago and decided to give it a try and use the slicer part for zucchini, squash and potatoes and it works really good, my old one that I had was a flat one that I had a really hard time holding on to and my hands would hurt by time I was done grading anything but this one I absolutely love, made a really good quality didn't bend on me at all or anything, I definitely recommend
