Awesome treadmill

Sara September 16, 2021

Great for a beginner or experienced! Very huge treadmill, with 10” HD touchscreen, Bluetooth connection for headphones and two great quality sound speakers, comes with 30 day ifit membership to train you, incline and declines, all around an awesome treadmill! I received this treadmill at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased opinion. I do highly recommend this ProForm treadmill!

Great price on a quality mid-range treadmill.

JAllen December 18, 2022

The unit was packed extremely well with wood inserts in the multiple layers of cardboard and custom fit foam inserts. The hardest part was getting the deck from the driveway into the house, but once that was done, installation was very straightforward. The 3D app for installation was helpful to use along with the written manual. The treadmill is very sturdy yet has that rebound cushion feature to the deck, which is noticeably easier on the joints than running on pavement. I tried the iFit free month's subscription. After about 5 workouts, I found the constant talking of the trainer along with having to listen to someone else's choice of music to be annoying, so I turned the volume down. If there are options to do trails with great scenery without any narration or music, I haven't found them. I will cancel the iFit subscription before the free month runs out as I prefer choosing my own music, and I can use my iPad for nice scenic trails that are offered on Youtube. We had a $700 Horizon treadmill that only lasted 3 years, so we decided to step up to this next level of treadmill and are happy, so far, with our choice of Proform.

Difficult assembly, Great product

Sue July 17, 2021

Very big, heavy, great treadmill. It was so hard to put together. The screws were labeled wrong. Some missing. But after we finally got it together, it works awesome. I love the ifit. It's a quiet machine. The monitor console is tall for me, i am 5'0" ft tall. But I can deal with it. The packaging was torn all open on delivery, that arrived a week late. I would recommend on the item itself. But shipping was horrible.

Some assembly required!

David September 2, 2021

Product damaged.. After waiting three weeks for delivery, then having the assembly folks[Handy Services] cancel after another two weeks of no shows. We started assembly ourselves. After getting almost through we mount the console, only to discover under the plastic it is damaged... Walmart won't replace just the console, but will ship another one... And start the whole thing over again!

OK but for shipping, damage, initial maint issues

eric December 16, 2021

Very difficult shipping and handling problems/home assembly info: Our first Proform 2000 was damaged in shipment so we ordered another...Walmart made good on the discounted price. The second was received with a cut in the large box it came in and plastic pieces of the front hood/cover had dropped into the motor and now we have to have a new motor and cover/hood to be installed onsite. Like most home equipment, "you" are the final manufacturer. The parts were provided very neatly separated and packed and it was not that difficult to follow the instructions. Most parts went together with no problems, however, the screw holes on the top rails were not finished well so it took extra/scary effort to apply parts there...thought I would strip them... the manufacturer should be more careful ensuring that. Hooking up to wi-fi, starting up the system, registering online...all went well. There is a bit of a start up time after turning it on and before usage but, hey, "first world problems", right? My wife has not actually used it yet, however, our first basic trials seemed OK so, after the new motor and hood/cover are put on, we expect this to be a good experience. Controls are fairly easy to use and the noise is OK. There would have been a fourth or fifth star if it weren't for the challenging shipping and maintenance problems upfront. We've had a Proform treadmill before getting daily usage for about seven years and had NO problems...that's why we went with this brand again.

Not impressed

Laura June 25, 2021

Delivered with busted switch and parts that had fallen off. More parts may be missing but I wouldn't even know what to look for. Not at all impressed with Ifit. Treadmill is very dull without ifit, you just have a bright white screen that you're forced to stare at. Belt slips often. Safety falls off accidently all the time. Constantly busting my arms and knuckles on the handrails. Tread belt is pretty high off the ground. Only has 3 percent decline which pretty much does nothing. Would have chise a cheaper model had i known. That and the belt seriously slips making it possibly dangerous on a decline Paid too much for this treadmill .

Avoid This Treadmill And This Brand !

Lacy June 3, 2022

Avoid Like The Plague! Started not booting and getting stuck in boot up loop after only 5 -1/2 Months! Not easy to use in manual mode (non iFit) even when it is working. My advice... get a good basic mid level treadmill like the Sole F63 which I almost bought and avoid Icon Fitness products which given my experience appear highly unreliable.

Ifit is great Treadmill/customer service terrible.

Yehuda November 21, 2022

I purchased this treadmill in December of last year. In the beginning I really enjoyed the treadmill. Ifit does a great job tailoring workouts for all fitness levels and I benefitted tremendously from the programs. Unfortunately the quality of the treadmill is severely lacking as well as the customer service. After just 9 months the running deck cracked and had to be replaced. Dealing with the Icon customer service is an extremely frustrating experience. For one they don't have a phone number to call rather all correspondence has to be via email. Not only that but it takes between 6 to 10 days to get a response. After finally getting a response I was informed that the part had been ordered and was sent some videos showing how to replace the walking deck. Not being very handy I inquired as to whether a tech could come install the new running deck and was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks for a tech to be available for installation. I decided it wasn't worth it and managed to install it myself. After 2 workouts post installation whenever I raised the speed to a running pace the motor stopped. I am currently waiting for them to get back to me about that Although given their track record I don't expect a response for another week or so.

Terrible experience, don't buy online

Edward January 6, 2022

I am exceedingly unhappy with this purchase. I bought it for a good price on Black Friday, but the item arrived damaged. A replacement item was promptly sent out, but was even more severely damaged (so much so that the delivery company called me and said I should refuse service, it had a broken screen and several other broken components). I was then told I could get a one-time price match to try for a third time if I created a new order and called back in to the support line for them to adjust it, but after hours spent on the phone it was eventually revelaed the best they could do was 15% off (half the discount from black friday). The net result of this terrible experience is that I had no Treadmill to gift on Christmas, I lost out on the opportunity to buy from other sellers who had deals over Thanksgiving, and I am stuck trying to find the best value for a treadmill in the middle of peak fitness equipment demand (New Years). This could not have gone much worse, I highly recommend you never buy anything requiring freight shipping from Walmart unless you can pick it up in the store (an option they refused repeatedly... because they worried it would get damaged getting to the store).
