Progressive Industries EMS-PT30X Portable RV Surge Protector - 30 Amp

We used this on our recent cross country trip. First night out the pedestal at our campsite did not have good power. luckily the adjacent site was empty and that pedestal was good. We could have had damage to our electrical system on day 1 of a 3 week trip. Well worth the cost for the peace of mind it provides.

We have only used this item on one 5 night camping trip, but it worked exactly like it said. After plugging it in we waited for it to run through all the tests and it came back negative for any problems. It was a lot of money but will be well worth it if it protects our campers electrical items.

Best in class 30 amp EMS. Hope to get as many years of service from this unit as my first one.

Works great as designed. No issues throughout the camping stay. Just took longer to arrive than estimated by Walmart. If you order this, plan to add a week or two to your actual need by date. I am glad I did.

Works as expected but the cover is a joke. For the price I shouldn't have to wrap tape around it to hold it in place.

Bought and did not work. When I called tech support they wanted me to be at the 30amp receptacle and test it, but they are only available Monday - Friday and we camp on weekends so I have no way to do that and they wanted nothing to do with it, so much for lifetime guarantee. I took unit apart and found that main wire from breaker was disconnected. Reconnected and unit works now. This was a quality issue they should have addressed.
