When I didn't realize that most US Swiss Cheese is no longer made with cow rennet, my vitami B12 level fell dramaically and I started having all the old nerve problems I had before I learned about B12 in Swiss cheese. Having a lot of pain, which I wanted to get rid of as quickly as possible, I googled foods high in B12, and clams were top of the list, so I ordered this clam chowder, and a can of clams to add to it. The results weren't instantanious, but they were pretty quick... I also began using more methylcobalamin lozenges, and as of now, the pain is COMPLETELY gone. I'm so glad! (I made the clams a regular... it wasn't a once kind of thing.)

Progresso Clam Chowder is a great runner-up. True New Englanders add some lemon juice and butter into the chowder. Clam Chowder with oyster crackers and you have a great meal. Enjoy...

One of my all time favorite style "soups". While it doesn't taste 100% like my favorite eating establishment's chowder, this is really good and satisfying. I eat this when I'm not feeling what I made for dinner (or lunch) because my teens are exhausting at times. My daughter also enjoys this.

I LOVE this New England Clam Chowder... Thick, creamy, flavorful, tastes just great... Love that I can grab a can, have it ready to eat in a couple minutes without any fuss... Its a nice change from the same old same old... Also, there are times when you just want something a little different... or may not feel like cooking. This can also requires no opener, so also great for use at work... I just LOVE IT, and I think that you will too... let somebody else do the heavy lifting... enjoy some tasty chowder without all the labor!

Good amount of clams. Potatoes in it are pieces. Wish it was more of mush rather than clumps of potatoes. Could use spicing it up. Very bland potatoes %26 clams. That's it. Soup is very watery. Not terrible. Not great. Just ok. Hits the spot if u have a clam craving.

I've gotten this product before but for some reason the chowder in the 4 cans I purchased this time around was a little off texture-wise: when I poured the chowder out of the can, the whole contents slid out — normally I need to grab a spatula and scrape the chowder out. This could be down to how the product was stored — maybe colder weather makes chowder behave differently, I'm not quite sure. Anyway, the product was fine so yeah I'd get it again but I'll be keeping an eye on how the contents pour.

the progresso clam chowder soup is very runny it has no body to it had to add about a pound of crackers to it to give it some bulk not very happy at all with this I'm sure there are better ones out there but progresso being a name brand should be a lot better than that

I have no problem with the product itself. I love this soup. As for the purchase, I was very disappointed to find out that this was much more expensive than buying it in the store - that's after making sure I found $50 worth of items to purchase so I could get free shipping. Any savings I got in free shipping was lost when I bought 3 cans of soup. Very disappointing and I will likely not buy anything from Walmart online unless it is not available in the store.
