Progresso Traditional, Chicken Rice with Vegetables Canned Soup, 19 oz.

Progresso soups are very good and usually come in 19oz. cans, so one can is a meal in itself. The pricing is also pretty good. I live in Florida and keep about 30-40 can on hand for hurricane season and just heat them up on my coleman store if there is no power. Thery are also a very good source of protein.

I was well pleased with the flavor and taste of this soup. I will continue to buy this particular one; it was delicious, as I am a chicken soup person. The serving was the right amount for me to get full, and I had it for lunch. I would definitely recommend this chicken-flavored soup.

If I cannot make soup from scratch this is the next best thing. I like to keep a few cans on hand for a quick dinner if we are in a hurry or too tired to cook. The best thing is that it is heat and serve. These would be perfect for packing in a lunch box if you have a microwave at work also. A can of soup and crackers on a cold day is perfect.

I love this soup. I think it is a great value for the money. I always keep a few cans on hand to throw together into a pot when I need a quick dinner for the family during the winter. When paired with some crackers or crusty bread, it is a filling and inexpensive meal. The broth has a nice flavor that is seasoned just right. I don't find it too salty, which is a plus when buying canned soups.

I need psyllium husk in my diet and find it dissolves really well in this soup. I do add a few tablespoons of water to compensate. The end result is a silky smooth version of a wet soup.

I always keep a few cans on hand....Great when sick!!!! ... Tried many brands over the years and by far this is the winner for me and my family. Great flavor, not extremely salty has veggies, white rice %26 chicken..... Quality product!... Taste great!! Broth isn't oily like some brands are.

I don't usually buy this brand of Chicken rice soup. It was a substitute from the brand I usually buy. But the broth had good taste other than that the soup was horrible. Hardly any chicken and the rice was hard not fully cooked at all. I had to throw the soup in the away.

progresso chicken and rice soup ingredients: 2 cups of water 1 bouillon cube 1.5 tablespoons of rice 1 baby carrot, chopped half eaten celery taken off the plate of someone who ordered wings and wanted to appear kinda healthy, chopped half of one of those tiny tomatoes that you normally get like 4 of in a house salad, chopped Such a paltry amount of chicken that the soup might be able to be legally called a vegetarian soup 10 flakes of parsley, put in a food processor to make it look like more than 10 flakes of parsley It's only redeeming factor is it is at least fairly tasty, albeit watered down. Such an enormously bad deal that you could make gallons of a much more hearty soup instead of buying a few of these. It's safe to say, I am not going to buy a second can of this soup. I might just look into canning at home.

Our family enjoys Progresso soups ….. HOWEVER….Every time we order soup cans from Walmart they arrive at our home badly dented. WHY? Do they train their shipping staff how to properly package goods so they arrive in good condition? Would they feed their grandchildren soup from SEVERELY dented cans? DISAPPOINTED that management does NOT take this seriously.

dont order for shipping or they will send you every dent and faded can they got i bought these when on sale from Sacramento store was a joke they gave me a refund for some but i wanted to be able to benefit from a good sale not get a bunch of deeply dented and faded label soup to the point it looked almost transparent and that it had been dug out of a dumpster. they also shorted me a can also,I think a couple were leaking because they were sticky i decided to throw all away because i dont want to get sick. If i ever want to get soup shipped again Ill stick to amazon for any canned goods.
