Progresso Traditional, Chicken Rice with Vegetables Canned Soup, 19 oz.

I need psyllium husk in my diet and find it dissolves really well in this soup. I do add a few tablespoons of water to compensate. The end result is a silky smooth version of a wet soup.

I love a variety of Progresso soups. Depending on serving, the gluten free ones are excellent. Also I add them to stews and it makes the dish extra delish.

This soup has plenty of chunky diced tomatoes, celery, and carrots. The rice is not overbearing. The chicken was slightly chewy. Broth is fine. I did not see any potatoes in the can I purchased. Good product.

I would highly recommend everything there at Walmart except only trouble I have is with my tomatoes. They're usually too soft and mushy or to wrap whatever you wanna call it. But everything else has been great.

progresso chicken and rice soup ingredients: 2 cups of water 1 bouillon cube 1.5 tablespoons of rice 1 baby carrot, chopped half eaten celery taken off the plate of someone who ordered wings and wanted to appear kinda healthy, chopped half of one of those tiny tomatoes that you normally get like 4 of in a house salad, chopped Such a paltry amount of chicken that the soup might be able to be legally called a vegetarian soup 10 flakes of parsley, put in a food processor to make it look like more than 10 flakes of parsley It's only redeeming factor is it is at least fairly tasty, albeit watered down. Such an enormously bad deal that you could make gallons of a much more hearty soup instead of buying a few of these. It's safe to say, I am not going to buy a second can of this soup. I might just look into canning at home.

I don't usually buy this brand of Chicken rice soup. It was a substitute from the brand I usually buy. But the broth had good taste other than that the soup was horrible. Hardly any chicken and the rice was hard not fully cooked at all. I had to throw the soup in the away.

I'm a fan of Progresso soup because of the pieces of chicken how old they're big and fulfilling. I ordered groceries that was delivered and one of my cans of soup has a dent in it do not buy dent cans because Deep dents can damage the seam, allowing bacteria to enter the can. Dents can also allow air and moisture into the can, which can cause botulism bacteria to grow and contaminate the food.

Purchased 4 cans as Walmart curbside and 3 of the 4 cans were severely dented. Very disappointed.

I WAS CHARGED WAY OVER THE $2.84 PRICE i JUST PICK 2 CASES UP AT. I TRIED TO CANCEL AND PICKUP MANAGER TRIED. WILL RETURN TO STORE. WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTT.

Our family enjoys Progresso soups ….. HOWEVER….Every time we order soup cans from Walmart they arrive at our home badly dented. WHY? Do they train their shipping staff how to properly package goods so they arrive in good condition? Would they feed their grandchildren soup from SEVERELY dented cans? DISAPPOINTED that management does NOT take this seriously.
